@@hexbug9737 vandal and nabu being opposite aspects of order also mirror what klarion and the other chaos lords have klarion is more of the type of chaos that youd expect from a certain clown associated with society memes, than the kind of chaos that the other chaos lords want which is fkn "destroy everything"(which in a way makes sense too because if we look at greco-roman chaos, the cosmological entity, out of her comes order, so like the chaos lords are in a way going "wtf where this come from get rid of it")

I like how the thing he is annoyed about most in this is that he was tricked by a child, even more so than the fact that he had been betrayed by the other lords of chaos.

Chaos Lords inevitably double cross each other for any number of reasons and they expect it to happen sooner or later. Besides, I'm sure Klarion's backstabbed other Chaos Lords throughout his life so he isn't surprised that they're doing it to him this time around.

Considering he's basically being ganged up on by all the other Chaos Lords powers in Child, he's right this fight isn't really fair.

It isn't meant to be fair as the writers want to show how much trouble Klarion's in and what evil jerks the other Chaos Lords truly are. Besides, they're bad guys so naturally, they aren't going to play fair.

As a cat owner this was the most relatable moment in the episode

Klarion is the Chaos Lord that is mostly a prankster. Though he does do a few atrocities, but other Chaos lords are more terrifying if they seek global and universal eradication. If I remember correctly Mordru is the smartest Chaos Lord and he has control of his own mind because he mastered Order magic as well. It's a mixed bag that you never know what kind of Chaos Lord you might get

@@soulsemblance3163 Well at least in the comics Lords of Order/Chaos are both extremely influenced by their power. Sometimes Lords of Order like Nabu have robotic personalities and emotionless. Like if they determined there is to much chaos in a city. They may judge to just destroy the city and everyone in it, instead of risking the chance of chaos spreading. Lords of Chaos usually have screws loose, and are overwhelmed with the concept of causing Chaos for the rest of reality. Nothing else tends to go through their mind. Mordru mastered both so he doesnt get overwhelmed by either. There tends to be a limit of how many Lords of Chaos and Order are allowed at once. Theres also some other terrifying Lords of Chaos like "Shivering Jemmy"

By comic lore, Mordru is the strongest chaos lord and he is an adult. Klarion did not outgrow his desire for chaos, Vandal merely sated his desire by showing him that by allowing things to be created over long periods of time then the greater the destruction can be caused.

Once it was renewed and went on HBO it was no longer limited by Cartoon Networks rules.

It's hard to tell if any of these attacks are actually causing damage to Klarion. We all know the only way to banish a Chaos Lord is by destroying their familiar, so what's the point of hitting Klarion directly?

From a platonic sense, I agree with you about Child as she looks like a sweet and caring school girl even though she isn't.

I'm not that knowledgeable on Klarion like other DC characters but something tells me if all the chaos lords have to gang up on him to beat him, it probably means they were too big of a group of wussies to take him on fairly.

@@Carlos-ne3zf She never fights him 1v1, look at the scene again, when she says, she’ll fight him with her own power and he says liar liar pants for hire, then she smiles deviously before blasting at him and he teleports away. Klarion knew that she wasn’t actually going to honor that agreement of fighting with just her power, he called her out on it and she smiled because he was right. For one, they are Chaos Lords, so lying is far from the worst thing they are capable of, and two, they are siblings, and from their interactions you can tell that Child and Klarion have an intense rivalry, which is why the Chaos Lords sent her down specifically. Remember when she summons him and he’s like, “aww, not her, of all the ones to send.” So from that we can tell that and how they talk to one another, she enjoys teasing Klarion just like a brother and sister would, albeit on a MUCH larger and sociopathic scale. Sort of like Wednesday and Pugsley from the Addams Family Movies.

IDK who she is but she gives me the creeps in a good way. She reminded me of an enemy in a game. Three girls that were responsible for mass witch burning that haunt an island. They were like this one here - calm and very destructive in the form of a little girl. Same vibes give the A.I. from Resident Evil or the Red Girl from Nier Automata. Nice touch.

Both of them are eldritch elemental lords of chaos. But while Klarion is more of a bratty genocidal prankster that can be reasoned with if you amuse him, The Child means business and is there in representation of all the lords of chaos to "relieve him of his duties" because he was taking too fucking long destroying the universe because he was having too much fun just messing with it playing as a super villian

Same here. As Klarion is a Chaos Lord but he's not malicious or sinister sure he's done some wicked acts but he's more of a prankster. Child and the others are more of we want to brake the truce between Chaos and Order and pretty much go to war with Order and destroy everything in sight including the universe.

For any comic fans: Klarion Bleak has a sister named, Beulah, and she is a total b*tch to Klarion. Very judgmental, looks down on him for not following his people's ways, and being condescending in every way possible about his interests. It's very fitting that Child would be like a sister to him. Especially how he reacted by saying, "Out of everyone, why HER!" Reminds me of his issues with Beulah quite a bit lol

Of course, Klarion's an obnoxious brat which is likely part of why the other Chaos Lords can't stand him. Yeah, I picture Child being like an annoying sister to him. I imagine Child being the polite, well mannered and well liked girl that everyone praises while Klarion is the obnoxious bratty prankster that no one can stand. Klarion was never a Lord of Chaos in the comics. I'm honestly not sure why they made him one in YJ. Child, however, is a Lord of Chaos in the comics, but was a boy, appearing in Amethyst and the 90's Hawk and Dove run.

I don’t think he can fight on par with her she was clearly just playing with him. Giving him false victory. He most likely thought he would be stronger cause he was more use to earth and it’s rules of magic or at least equal to her and there magic cancel each other out but instead her magic overtook his

That would be funny to see. I'd be on Child's side in that scenario as she's got a more likeable personality then Klarion despite her own faults. My beef with her was that she was trying to destroy the Earth, not her personality. I expect her to be creepy and do things to anger the heroes even IF she only became as bad as Klarion, it's in her nature after all.

@@galacticsector3195 But some CN shows still got away with things if they were rated TV-PG. I just hope we get to see action shows again following Tom Aschiem’s management and Genndy Tartakovsky creating a new series, Unicorn: Warriors Eternal.

If they get rid of Child, who has all of the other lords of Chaos, that means Klarion will be the only one left. SPOILERS!!!!!!! DON'T READ AFTER HERE! If Klarion is the only one left while decomporealized, and they get rid of child or trap the other lords of chaos somehow(maybe in the tower of fate), Klarion could be left to his own devices once he recomporealizes(I hope. He's a big fan favorite). Then he'll truly be like his comic book counterpart of just existing and doing what HE wants, whether good or bad!

There is a quote...in chaos there is cosmos, in disorder a secret order. So basically within chaos there can be the possibility of order and the reverse can be true too. Depends how closely you examine...on a micro or macro level.
