@@ricpo8683 if a bit of test goes into your bloodstream even if it's an IM gone wrong you'll feel anxious, warm, lightheaded, out of breath a bit and feel like you need to lay down for about half an hour. After that you might feel slightly more motivated to workout but all in all it's most likely not dangerous for a healthy person to experience although it's a bit scary, it's mostly just a waste of test.

As often as not, "pre-med" is liberal arts. Stuff like literature, history, civics. Some medical institutions _prefer_ candidates with this background because, supposedly, it produces "better" doctors who are more well-rounded and interesting. Even if these "better" doctors spent years writing essays about Shakespeare instead of doing labwork, biology, math, science.
