Everyone knows that Levon Aronian is a class act on the chess board. But through this video, you also get to know what a well-read person he is. Levon was confronted by a special quiz prepared by the ChessBase India team - the India quiz, in which we asked the International players a few things about India. Levon was simply unstoppable as he answered questions related Taj Mahal to prime minister of India, with ease!
Levon also recounts his experience of World Youth Olympiad in 1998 where he was able to trick Pentala Harikrishna with a very nice idea off the board. In the end of the video Levon tells us his take on the World Championship Match beginning in London from today and at the same time wishes all the viewers of ChessBase India a very happy Diwali.

Chess players are not the nicest people. Typically mean and have deluson of grandger. Aronian is not only a fantastic player but also a personable and nice guy.

Levon is always a treat to watch, both on and off board. Armenian Government should consider him as an ambassador. He can be a great diplomat.

condolence for Levon after what he is going through would love to see him come back for more good chess and entertainment. He is a great chess personality I look up to him and his polite gesture towards other players. We are with you Levon.

Just seen him yesterday in Kolkata. What an amazing personality. Because of his attitude he can be easily differentiated from others. He was the only one came outside and have taken selfie with fans.

Levon become my favorite 2017 by the risky way he played chess. We dont have any good Swedish and Norway... no. So glad Levon also is humble, witty and a good man.
Levon is very very underrated player. Everyone knows Aronian-Anand Tata Steel where Anand won that incredible game but what not many people know is that Levon actually has winning record against Anand in classical chess; also 6th player ever to reach 2800 and was #2 for a long time. Such a pity that he never was able to find his best chess in the Candidates, but to me he's one of the best players ever to never be World Champion. Still rooting for him to qualify to and win the 2022 Candidates, after all Anand was 37 when he first became World Champion
