It’s interesting that this man has finally gotten the respect he always deserved and I’m happy for him. I was always a big fan of him and also of Zurdo. I was a bit disappointed with Zurdo’s approach before this fight and because of that I was hoping that Bivol would humble him and would dominate him. Zurdo had always been a class act; but before this fight was talking too much. Even Bivol who never talks about his opponent pointed it out by saying that Zurdo was talking too much. I remember that before the Canelo fight I was in a barbershop and many laughed when I told them that Canelo had bitten more than he could chew. This man, Bivol, is great because of his discipline and ability to follow his corner’s strategy. I believe he would have many more knockouts if his corner was to unleash his power. He sticks to the plan and is all about winning; even if it means not being flashy. My favorite fighter and a class act - reminds me of the great Manny Pacquiao.

Bivol took it easy on him and he can easily smoke and sleep Canelo. Canelo's carbon copy style was exposed. It looked like an amatuer still trying to learn vs a pro boxer that's how much Bivol schooled him. Bivol is another level altogether. Canelo will not fight him at 168 because he doesn't want to lose his belts and get slept on the way. Repeat Cleno doesn't want the beating of his life, he has NOTHING to offer Bivol other than punch his arm

I wish this was the standard of boxer we had in the sport instead of the exception. I could really do without all the fake beef and fight selling. I love Bivol's approach, and Zurdo's for that matter, to this fight. "Our skill will do the talking in the ring". This is what the sport of boxing is all about.

He gave Zurdo more than his fair share of compliments. That's kinda rare these days.

Im so glad bivol is finally on the radar as he deserves to be. Ive known about him for years and now he is finally the SUPERSTAR that we’ve all known all along.

Dmitry v Beterbiev will be one of the greatest light heavyweight fights in history surely. Both are so formidable and strong champions but Bivol seems to just have that extra class in my humble opinion.

Every American fighter needs to learn from this guy. Grounded, transparent. funny.

He made gvozdyk bow to him. That dude was a powerful great boxer who took out Adonis Stevenson. Bivol is the total package, so it will be interesting. Either could win imo but do not underestimate Beterbiev he is something else entirely. Beterbiev also just made Browne and Joe Smith look like amateurs, dismantled Tavoris Cloud earlier in his career,

I was just asking about that on another video. Usyk is too big now. Let's say hypothetically if Usyk hadn't moved up and stayed at cruiserweight... And Bivol moved there... Or even catch weight. Who you got? Usyk has 3 inches of height and 6 inches of reach... I'd give him the edge. But berbetiev has similar dimensions as Bivol and gave Usyk good fight in the amateurs. Bivol doesn't have that power but had the skill. Would have been good fight. Both exceptionally skilled.

@@ruzzb4650 Bivol is a small lhw. It's not realistic to think he could compete with Usyk. Beterbiev wouldn't do well either. Usyk is better now and the pros are different. Pretty sure Shawn Porter beat Usyk at one point in the amateurs too

This guy is the next pound for pound King. Havent seen a talent like this in a long time. So sharp, so technically sound, pressures with a great defence. Like a mayweather type of level defence but in a light heavy. This guy has it all. Maybe lacking a bit in knockout power but technically he's a joy to watch

People often forget, Canelo walk around weight is around 190 and Bivol is around 185. He is indeed a natural LHW. There are so many SMW who walk around 190 to 200 plus and GGG is another example of natural MW.
