I personally love this monitor and think it's definitely worth the price. Yes it is expensive but the build quality and features alone make it worth it, I tend to game a lot at night and found the monitor was a lot easier on my eyes than something like the MSI Optix MPG321UR-QD, Which was too bight at night. This one is perfect for me and has speakers and a remote, Which is a plus for me.

A 32" monitor is worth it, to me. The price is a bit steep, albeit. Rocking a ROG xg32vc personally....To answer the bigger question you asked comparing this to a TV, Yes, I think going for something like an LG c1 would be a better overall purchase. Those things are incredible.

I just got a 55" U7G for $650 which I'd argue is better for console gaming. I also got a 27" MSI MAG27CQ for my new rig I'm building with a Z690, 12400f, 2x16 DDR5 5200, and a 3060 12 GB, I can't wait!!!

I have a 3080 ti and Ive always been wanting a 27-32 inch 4k 144hz monitor. The dream! my pc i5 12600k 5.2ghz P core overclock 3.7ghz e core overclock 32gb ddr5 5200 memory the rtx 3080 ti

I still feel like 240hz 1440p monitors are the best bang for your buck. Depending on the games you play of course, and whether you play Keyboard and Mouse or Controller. I'm still loving my FI27Q-X. If it's console n chill then definitely a badass TV is the play.

Hi. So I m planning to make a clean install of windows the following days. Would you mind giving a helping hand whether to upgrade to the 11 or stick to windows 10? Have you noticed any difference in performance at all? My platform is running a ryzen 5600x (I ve seen a significant drop in perfomance for the amd users and I m not sure if it got fixed)

For $1000 this is a tough sell. Unless you just really want a monitor versus a tv it’s hard to justify buying this for $1000 when you can bet better hdr and picture from a few different 55 inch tvs from tcl or Hisense or even a 48inch c1 from last year which u can get for about $1000. So basically if unless you can’t use a 48-55 inch tv this thing is pretty pointless just as was pointed out in this video. If u do need a monitor though things likely the lg gp950 and the eve spectrum are just as good if not better then this and a bit cheaper as well. Oh and no this thing is not at all good for hdr, if you purchase this just think of it as a good sdr monitor.

I went with this display for my desk, Simply because it works with my pc and consoles and doesn't take up as much room as a tv would. I am planning on getting a C2 OLED later this year and putting it in my bedroom, but for my main setup, This is perfect. I personally think 4k at 32 inches is much better than at 27 inches. I like being immersed into any game I play and using a 32 inch display like this makes that possible. I agree that HDR is pointless on these edge lit displays, It's really good in sdr though.

@@trevormurdok7666 Don't bother with anything that isn't OLED. IPS/VA/TN cannot compare and are dead to me at this point. I paid £899 for my LG C1 48" on sale and its an absolute steal. These monitors can have a billion hz for all I care but it looks nowhere as smooth and as refined as a good 120Hz OLED.

@@Direwoof Dell and Gigabyte do have them with more to come. My issue with OLED monitors strictly though is lack of feature set and burn in prevention. LG OLEDs however have a very good algorithm built into their TVs that detect HUDs, static text etc Not to mention app support for other things which renders my PS5 essentially useless as a media device when it comes to things like Dolby Vision support etc.

Can someone please tell me how I can tell if pc parts are compatible? I'm trying to build my first pc and I went on to pcpartpicker and they say they are compatible but sometimes it Says that my water cooler for my cpu may need a different mounting bracket? Well I was gonna get the new alienware qd oled, but seems as though it won't be till July till it's delivered (pain & suffering) so this is cool tho.

I want a competitive pc gaming monitor that can be used for both Apex Legends PC and console (includes HDMI 2.1). Would be nice if display port went to 240hz while HDMI 2.1 went to 120hz (for my future PS5 Pro model or whenever Sony releases a newer version). I'm competitive and play Apex Legends on controller with a good pc 5900x and a 3070. Can easily run Apex Legends for good FPS but my current monitor is 165hz. I'm still waiting to upgrade but for now i wait.

I personally be holding off for the QD oled montoirs before I take the jump to 4k montoir

Thats a good monitor but Ive seen something similar for less money. Its called the Eve Spectrum (the 4k one not the QHD one; There are multiple versions) and it has the same specs except you can order it with a glossy panel... If you don't care about the glare.

in canada this same exact monitor is 1550$ and I bought my new LG oled C1 4k 48" at 1100$ which lets be honest is much better than this. I'm a Benq fanboy since ive been 14 but wow they need to cut the pricing down and a lot 800$ would actually be a fair price for this no way it is worth 1.5k sorry Benq you missed the mark on that one.

The PG33UQ has been known to have some awful QC from what people have said. The Mobius seems to have same panel but better QC. I’m interested to see if we get OLED 32 Inches like the new Alienware and other OLED 42inches coming out later this year

1440p is starting to become the norm on PC gaming. 4k right now is still far to expensive and a killer on performance.

I’ve gamed a bunch on 1080p and 1600p then recently made the leap to 27in 4K 120/144 fps. It changed all my games even making some I had little interest in much better. Now the downsides are the pricetags since the monitor was $700 used and I’m using RTX 3090 FTW 87 and i9 12th gen.

@@Nerdexotic I'm new to PC gaming since November, after coming from console/OLED 4k. From reading and asking many questions I was told 1080p is the norm and 1440p was becoming the norm. So I purchased a Samsung odyssey G7 32" and game at 1440p looks great and with a monitor at a desk length away things look just as good, but I do sometimes use Nvidia DLDSR up the resolution to 2160p. But many still do use 1080p from the information a gathered, 4k at the moment is not worth the asking price in money and performance.

For this money, I'd prefer a 48" or 55" LG C1, given I'm using AW3821DW as my work/game PC monitor, which doesn't have hdmi 2.1, in other words, don't need a 4K pc monitor yet (currently running 3080), so.... yeah LG C1

Alienware qd-oled, about the same price or cheaper with codes. Much better alternative.

honestly just go for a high quality 1440p 144hz or something. will probably cost £600 less. i got a really nice 27 inch 1440p 165hz IPS for £299.99.

I've got an older benq 24" 1080p and the built in hdr on that is still incredible

Bro my new tv can do 4k at 144hz, get the Samsung qn90b it's a beast and even faster and latency is great

while I am satisfied with my 27 inch 4k monitor, if I could do it again, I'd go 32 inch.

Yea man. I’m getting old and got a 32”. I look at a 27” and it looks like a Nintendo switch screen it’s so small. I could only afford a 1440p/165 but in a few years the 4K monitor and the cards strong enough to run them will be cheaper hopefully

why havent we ever seen an 4k oled 144 hz monitor. There are literally no oled gaming monitors which are 27 or 32 inches which is not an ultrawide

Very true, as someone who has one I always tell people that it's a much better upgrade to their gaming experience than the upgrade from like a 3080 to 3090 or 5600x to 12900k
