As a healthcare professional. It really irks my soul when healthcare workers don't understand HIPPA, especially when it's required to relearn it yearly. HIPAA only applies to healthcare workers or healtcare contractors. I really wish I was present when situations like this happen to so could truly educate people like this, as a healthcare professional.

Unfortunately, that was the argument a lawyer for a police department argued in PA to a state judge and the judge ruled that citizens cannot record in the lobby of police departments. Thus, many other cities/PD across the country have pointed to that ruling to support their reason of preventing people from recording in police lobbies.

Glad that TTA had been there. Learned how our First Amendment works anywhere that's public. That it's not their building. It belongs to the people. The public. For real. My sister was a social worker for years and she was worse than that lady with self important attitude. She switched careers and slowly stopped acting like that. It's crazy how some jobs can change people so wildly like that

@@frankhoward2417it’s against the law for a police officer to solicit a trespass….only the owner or agent of the owner can trespass someone on private property. On public property you can only be trespassed if you have broken a law. A policy is not a law, doesn’t carry the force of law and if you don’t follow their policy you’re not breaking the law.
