FTC/CFTC Risk Disclaimer - Please read this so you're 100% aware of the extreme risks associated with any type of trading and investing.
I’ve said for years and years and years - trading is extremely risky, and most people will lose all the money they try to trade with - even the people who follow the information I provide. Trading is a skillset that is difficult to learn, and I make it look easy because I’ve been trading for 7+ years. As with any high performing skillset in life, trading is NOT easy.
Your likelihood of consistently making money trading is abysmally low, whether you learn on your own or whether you follow the things that myself or others teach.
It’s like becoming a doctor, many people start pre-med and medical school, but only a tiny fraction of them succeed and actually become doctors. The average success rate of trading is even worse that that! Becoming a doctor is obviously not for everyone, and becoming a trader is obviously not for everyone, too.
I (and my company, MissionFX, LLC) make NO guarantees/promises/express direct or indirect representation that you’ll achieve any specific result trading, regardless of whether you’re following my free or paid content.
I’m just some random guy on the internet who is sharing what’s worked for me - I have no clue what will work for you because there are a million contributing factors that will determine whether or not you will make money trading.
Do NOT take into account any information that I share anywhere on the internet as the basis for your trading decisions. I’m not responsible for your success, nor am I responsible for your failures.
Read the full risk disclaimer on my website below, so that you’re 100% aware of the risks associated with trading - then you can make an informed decision as to whether or not you want to continue following any of the information I share (or continue to pursue trading in general).

Key game changer for me was witnessing the 50/50 1:1 win rate for myself through backtesting, and experiencing a 6 trade losing streak during that. Despite the 6 trade losing streak, the backtesting still ended at break even. Mixing that with adding to winners + cutting losers short, I've become a substantially more confident trader which is now manifesting itself into profits. It's disgusting how over-complicated I was making things, and how simple it can be.

yea I'm switching to 1:1/ 1:1.25R now as it works really well with my failed HOD/LOD break strategy. I'm still scared of not being able to recover from losing variance with 1:1 but maybe I should do some back testing to see how the probabilities still end in break even for added confidence.

HI Nick just come across your videos . I've been trading for around 20 years busted a few accounts at first and now have been profitable for about 5 years, the only reason I've become profitable is because I started to really and seriously concentrate on my risk management and agree with everything you teach. I'm a swing trader and spend 15 minutes a day on trading I usually get out of a losing trade before it hits my SL and let my profits run as far as possible. There's only a few people out there that teaches good money management and your one of them. Hats off and respect to you man.

Makes completely sense! My own experiance is: I scaled down my position size and since then....I`m in profit and it is because I make it exactly how you described it here. The reason is: I`m relaxed now and don`t fear losses anymore. I understood how important this message REALLY is. The rest is mathematics as you explained here. Thank you for this good content, it is confirmed already by my own experiance. I just feel regret about all this years listening to fake Trading Guru`s who distract their listener from finding a very simple way which really works. They making money from their You Tube channels, not by trading and the more complicated they make the thing, the more videos they can upload ;-)

I'm somewhat of a fitness freak so I completely understand what being a good loser is. I've tried to tell a friend that and he gave me a crazy look because I said "you have to know how to lose in order to win" I always say being a good loser makes you a good winner. Not even with trading though, this is my outlook on life. And it's logical.

I don't wanna be mean but 2 weeks of lifting doesn't make you a fitness freak and has nothing to do with what was discussed here. The beauty of bodybuilding that is there is rarely any losing if you're doing it so challenge yourself. It's important to have some things like that in life. Something that's good for you and not a competition, where almost every time you can walk out without losing.

Winning some and losing some. It’s quite hard to get a good entry or get out of a trade with minimal lose when you have to set your trade and go on with your day. Any suggestions?

Set an alert in Tradingview. Let's say after opening a position and setting the TP and SL, you may want to check it again in case the price got 1% drop. The alert will notify your phone and you can revisit the setup. This approach helps a lot on forgetting the setup and reducing trade addiction.

I found out in my journal I was hoping in and out in the same direction. I had an aha moment and just said why don't I just sit in the damn thing and size in instead of the extra commissions. I get my making more on size when I size in I'm still above my entry so I'm at break even atp. I lose $500 if I take my full stop to the face, 1-2k when I win. 3 trades a day that's it for me win lose or draw.

I used to have 3 loss (baseball strike out rule). It was there to protect mental collateral as you know how it is when we go into long losing streaks and a 0-3 day becomes 0-8...However you are absolutely right. ending at 0-3 makes no difference to what trade 4, 5 and 6 is going to be. You could stop at 0-3 and come back the following day and its another 0-3 whereas the first day could have ended up 5-5. I suppose my only question is do you simply take as many valid trades as humanly possible and let the law of large numbers play its course with your positive expectancy of a 2:1 reward to risk and a 50% win rate. I believe most of my trauma and frustration came from a 0-3 day stop and the pressure to be right from the beginning of the day.

When mention the Casino, I was sure you would say, YOU ARE THE CASINO! As Casinos in their worst game (roulette) maybe is like 51% win stats. Blackjack (not counting, play perfect (most casino has folder how to play perfect)) you are like 48? 47%. If counting you can get over 50. However point is that when count is in ur favor, you have bigger chance for BJ AND that is why people count. To bet more when you have better chance of winning 150%. I think you kind of doing this. (Used to play poker semipro before didcover trading. Unfortunately I started in 09 and as long I bought (stocks) I won and got spoiled. Messed up expectations later. Im BE ish, working on actually holding pos until target or stop is hit. Will watch this video several times. Also my most stupid mistake... Always looking for reversals when price moves alot in one direction. "It has to turn" Incredible to be so aware and just throw it all away when starting platform...

*Great video, but I really do have a question. For someone with less than $10,000 to invest how do you recommend we enter the crypto market? I am thinking of studying some traders and copying their strategies, rather than investing or trading myself and loosing money, what's your take on this approach?* 😊
