Still suck at trading? I have a simple suggestion.

FTC/CFTC Risk Disclaimer - Please read this so you're 100% aware of the extreme risks associated with any type of trading and investing.
I’ve said for years and years and years - trading is extremely risky, and most people will lose all the money they try to trade with - even the people who follow the information I provide. Trading is a skillset that is difficult to learn, and I make it look easy because I’ve been trading for 7+ years. As with any high performing skillset in life, trading is NOT easy.
Your likelihood of consistently making money trading is abysmally low, whether you learn on your own or whether you follow the things that myself or others teach.
It’s like becoming a doctor, many people start pre-med and medical school, but only a tiny fraction of them succeed and actually become doctors. The average success rate of trading is even worse that that! Becoming a doctor is obviously not for everyone, and becoming a trader is obviously not for everyone, too.
I (and my company, MissionFX, LLC) make NO guarantees/promises/express direct or indirect representation that you’ll achieve any specific result trading, regardless of whether you’re following my free or paid content.
I’m just some random guy on the internet who is sharing what’s worked for me - I have no clue what will work for you because there are a million contributing factors that will determine whether or not you will make money trading.
Do NOT take into account any information that I share anywhere on the internet as the basis for your trading decisions. I’m not responsible for your success, nor am I responsible for your failures.
Read the full risk disclaimer on my website below, so that you’re 100% aware of the risks associated with trading - then you can make an informed decision as to whether or not you want to continue following any of the information I share (or continue to pursue trading in general).

I have a three fund portfolio consisting of 33% S&P, 33% Total stock, and 33% international. I feel a need to focus on complete growth so I went 100% stocks, but does the SP500 and TSM overlap too much to make sense holding both? However I’ve been in the red for a month now. I work hard for my money, so investing is making me a nervous sad wreck. I don’t know if I should sell everything, sit and just wait but watching my portfolio dwindle away is such an eye -sore.

There are many other interesting stocks in many industries that you might follow. You don't have to act on every forecast, so I'll suggest that you work with a financial advisor who can help you choose the best times to purchase and sell the shares or ETFs you want to acquire.

I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.

Nick, I have been a profitable trader for 10 years and routinely still look for ideas posted by other people in my continuance to learn, however truthfully with the exception of one it has never influenced my trading strategy. I hate indicators and the only thing on my charts are S/R zones to govern my theory on market manipulation. This video is by far the best and most relevant take on trading I have every seen. I honestly wish more traders who have found success and have gone through the proverbial shit process would post stuff like this. Wonderful f**king content man. Thanks for not being one of these idiots trying to bolster their own profile by posting crap. Bottom line and best point in my own words, simple and repeatable process without emotion is how you make money! Great Job!

Watching professional trading videos and most especially connecting with the right person the digital world is full of in unreal people I met some of them during my success journey. I felt same way when I started especially when you use demo account you might be winning but when you put in real money you start losing I understand and I pass through it all. One word of caution: Market conditions do exist, wherein you don't just get stopped out, and thus the leverage DOES matter. Back in 2015, I missed getting smashed on the Swissy move, by pure luck ... but it was a 1.2x leverage, so even if I was in it (I had gotten out the day before), I would have survived. Many didn't survive. They went on that theory of "Well, I'll just put 10k down, and leverage up", and the stop was not hit. One nanosecond ... it was trading at X, and the next nanosecond, it gapped by like 600 Pips. And then CONTINUED to wreck people as it slammed lower. It actually destroyed entire brokerage firms, and not only smashed peoples accounts, but then they were in the hole, and owed thousands. IT DOES HAPPEN. Black Swans are rare. But they DO happen.

However I fully endorse everything you say here. The realist talk! No bullshit, any beginners here please listen to this and watch it over and over. It's all probabilities and risk management. You just need an edge a ton of discipline to find that edge and collect tons of data. Oh yeah and don't forget you're your own enemy when it comes to trading. It doesn't have to be complicated! It just needs to be consistent. Great video!!

The average stock in my portfolio has been cut in half, and the only way to make money this year has been to either short or to trade long in very short time frames. I'm still at a crossroads deciding if to liquidate my dipping $117k stock portfolio, what’s the best way to take advantage of this market?

It’s precisely at times like these that investors need to be on guard against the next certainty. You don’t have to act on every forecast, hence i will suggest you get yourself a financial-advisor.

@@SallyW414 I agree, having a financial - advisor for investing is genius! Not long ago amidst the pandemic crash in March 2020, I was really having investing nightmare prior touching base with advisor. In a nutshell, i've accrued over $550k with the help of my advisor from an initial $120k investment thus far.

@@LagerthaJackson I personally work with ‘Viviana Marisa Coelho’’’ she covers things like investing, insurance, making sure retirement is well funded, going over tax benefits, ways to have a volatility buffer for investment risk. many things like that. Just take a look at her full name on the internet. She is well known so it shouldn't be hard to find her.

What I got from this video: Trading is a skill; the technique may be simple but not necessarily easy. I believe Nicks advice is genuine advice. He's clearly explained that it takes experience to cultivate the intuition and discretion required to be able to cut losses early, but once you can do that then it's enough to be profitable. I don't watch all your videos, but this is my favorite one I've seen from you so far. Thanks

Great Great video. Everything you said is exactly 100%. Even the intro as to why you would want to trade. People talk about about controlling emotions. I have come to learn that it's not about controlling emotions as much as it is getting punched in the face so many times that you just become numb to it. Constantly daily repeated exposure to potentially losing money will dull your senses to it. Good luck everyone

Yes! For people like me (and there probably lots like me), the paper trade account doesn't work, cuz we know it's just play money. Rather, starting out with $10 or 20 bux a pop works better. We need to feel the burn n build up.

Copying trades from a financial expert allowed me to stay afloat in the market and grow my portfolio to over 65% since January. Began right prior to the pandemic with $77k. Despite the fact that many people's portfolios collapsed, I persevered with my FA and gained over $260,000 in profit with just five months of active sessions. safer

@marvishaN I only copy trades made by HEATHER LEE LARIONI. She is employed with Empower FinanciaI. However, there are many of independent consultants you could research. Her approach seems to work for me, which accounts for my outcome. She offers points of entrance and exits for the assets I pay attention to.
