You are so right there about keeping things simple and there are no secrets. The charts to start off with can distract you with a lot of noise. I started learning only about over a month ago. It was very confusing just to look at the charts and then watch these videos about the different types of indicators and chart pattern names The pennies are starting to drop now being able to work it out intuitively without knowing needing to know all the technical jargon eg candlestick names etc , and, keeping in mind, risk management. Thanks, Nick.

That was me...jumping from 1 strategy to another in few days..Over analysis and overthinking is all over trading as people try to decode things ...using ICT..POC...Vol profile...and other tools...which are ok if they work for somebody but to many traders, they are unnecessary noise and complications

I'm having my best month because I have ignored what everyone else is saying, I didn't take anyones trades I purely focused on the chart and what I've personally learned so far from experience and it is so much better. Less stressful makes more sense still can execute better but it feels rly good knowing that I know enough to just ignore everyone and focus on what I know. Thanks Nick for being real about all of this, its really needed.

You may not know it in a concrete way, but there are definitely ways to determine whether it's going to go up or down. I use fundamentals and sentiment to tell me if it will go up or down and it has never made me blow an account or lose more then my initial capital. The parts where I have failed are having shitty entries despite being right, but that's long past me. Another thing would be staring at the screen despite being right. I'm right an overwhelming majority of the time, it was having shitty entries and staring at the screen that really made me lose when I first started. Supply and demand isn't some random spontaneous thing that happens on a chart. There is a reason for that supply and there is a reason for that demand. And I like to analyze the reasons why there is supply or why there is demand before I actually open a position. Typically sentiment and fundamentals are what move the market so that's what I'm more interested in. Sentiment and fundamentals are what creates supply and demand.

You are right, context is important to understand so is the data you can analyse. I can guarantee that the result is not a 50/50 chance. In other words, you can increase your odds higher then 50% if you put in the work and this is a lot and very hard work.

I agree. People selling their “secrets” for financial gain. It’s gross. Nothing beats experience, making that trade yourself and learning from it.

Yes, that's accurate.

Yep, the real "secret" is intuition developed by experience. Though, the stochastic indicator, support and resistance levels, pivot points, and the Fibonacci retracement tool are great assets for timing entries and exits. Another "secret" is to keep your position sizes to a level that doesn't make you grab your computer and start screaming at it, in an infernal rage, every time the market runs against you.

This was a great video. I'm demo now. And I don't give two shits how well I might do over the next two months, I'm going to STAY in demo and just keep watching things like a hawk. I've made a lot so far and I've lost a lot as well. S'all good. I'm going to learn.

Does anyone else use this method of trading for stocks? (not forex) for example I use support/resistance for Tesla and I use SPY as a rubric with the 1 minute and 30 minute time frame along with Price structure that my mentor teaches us.What has made me profitable is when price breaks a channel (on spy) and that volume is what really gets Tesla moving.

no secrets, but a lot of work and practicing, paper-trading, and demo trading til you got it on green numbers, analyze your trades...do more what works and less what is not working as nick says .... took me 5 freaking years to get numbers from red into green... and watching a bit of Nicks videos, made my numbers even a bit greener. there is no secret.... its dedication and no excuses, there is no luck or secrets. i had many days i wanted to give up, but always cracked on again, and finally i manage and make money yeah ...all the best Nick love your videos your very real guy. greez from Spain

I've been trading for about 3 years. I system hopped, I studied trading psychology, market makers, been in every discord known to man, and just kept losing and losing. Been watching your channel for a few months, took what I learned from you and stopped watching your channel. Stopped watching ALL trading content. I kept things simple, managed risk, and I've had the most calm, confident, boring and profitable weeks I've had since I started. I looked at my equity curve and was shocked. I almost couldn't believe it's this simple. It's a wierd feeling. Now I'm just chasing more experience, patience and learning how I think. There's no pressure, and I'm actually enjoying waiting and trading now. So thanks man.

Thanks Nick. I am seriously grateful for your different and honest outlook on trading. And you have the proof, because you share your analysis and your trades for free. I thought to myself in the beginning that trading is this hard and stressful thing that I should be doing for the rest of my life. Only recently I realized that, for example, a fundamentalist trader and a moving average crossover trader are both profitable traders. One trader just keeps things simpler and controls risk well, and the other makes things too complicated for himself, and ends up having no more predictive power than the moving average crossover guy, and could even screw his decision making around with too many moving parts. If there is a so called "secret sauce", it is not the strategy, but your technique to controlling risk and keeping your impulsive emotions in check, cutting losers short and letting winners play out.

Nick?? What’s ur opinion on other people finding profitability and documenting it on KZread, similar to what you do? Trading videos, Q&S?, discord And other trading content, do u advocate the documentian of other people’s profitability? After 2 months of loosing continually, I am now breaking even and making small profits in my 3rd month and I am seeing all these concepts you’re teaching by putting in some serious dedicated screen time looking at market move over and over and studying hours into the night by back testing . I have spent many hours praying to God for a breakthrough and one of the ways I got help was by finding channels like yours who keep it real and simple. Nice,finally someone speaks the truth about trading! I fully agree.

By demo trading as I learning I noticed when it comes to cryptocurrency and ETH and BTC you can just set a long position once its low and let it running. Over time it will got more and more as ETH and BTC usually go up. Other Crypto are way too unstable and unpredictable to set something overnight.

Thank you Nick! I seem to over complicate things too much and it definitely brings a lot of unwanted stress. It is time now for me to do some deep inner reflection to get to a simpler way of trading. You are the most honest trader on KZread. Thanks for being on our side!!
