Been slowing down a lot more, being patients and waiting for everything to align. As much as I wanna jump on everything I’m tryna back up and think is this really smart ; then I have a whole internal battle trying to see it from both sides - tracking data, keeping things simple, and staying patient and not getting fomo is starting to create repetition . I agree with your approach, and that charts and other analysis are less than 50% correct. I have gone through hundreds of trend pictures and none even come close to the current market and if they do have a match, the outcome is 50%😂😂😂. I never set SL or TP unless I can't keep my eyes on the chart. If my trade is going strong in my direction I set my SL in the profit zone so even if it turn around I still win a little.

I have followed you for so long, what I admire is the strategy is the damn boring same thing. I have learned a little bit about ICT too. Unconsciously, your strategy is somehow aligned (or maybe not) with ICT. Like when you take trade when in support/resistance, that's where order blocks sometimes happened. That's also where sometimes Fair Value Gap is happening. It is what it is, that's how I see it. But both ICT and your strategy, isn't always work 100%, hence the win rate is just 50%. What matters is the risk management like what you said, and the opportunity that often happen.

I was earlier advised to find and work with a licensed advsor because I needed a substantial push to keep my portfolio afloat. She was really helpful in helping me develop my reserve from $225k to almost $850k, despite the market downturns. Maybe that's also what you need.

tho it is not 50/50 chance to either win or loose, if your tp is further away than your sl, which it is in your case otherwise you wouldnt be able to win more then you loose, the chances are not 50/50 cuz price has to travel more points to get to your tp than to your sl, possibly reversing while doing it. So on the long run you will not have a 50/50 winrate no more. Winrate and Risk to Reward are logically opposites, if one gets bigger the other one gets smaller.

But why do you not trade futures? Do you only like the past?

The deposit will only show if you are setting the history to include the data from when the account was originally deposited. This account balance was started at $99,800 two months ago - but you will not see the deposit if I set the PNL history to just show the last 1 week of data - because there was no deposit within the last week. That is why there is a zero on the deposit line in the PNL history.

Why are you making it a binary choice on whether or not price respects a ''support or resistance'' level? You do know that most of time price will range right? You did mention consolidation but you blew it off as if it's not a thing. Then you said that if you start feeling pain you can just close it out. The issue with this strategy is that you will always be scared out of your position. Ranges and Spikes exist purely to discourage strategies like this. You are oversimplifying it and simple strategies may work once in a while but there is no way a strategy like this is making millions.

Have to agree. There's no way. He says 50/50 win ratio with the difference-making profitable edge being knowing when to add to winning positions and when to cut losing ones short. That's not any kind of a system or edge - it's pure gambling based on "intuition" and you're right - he's leaving it up to MM wicks taking full advantage of your emotions because you would have to price-watch to have this (theoretical) edge.

You make it sound like you don't give a shit what happens when you put on a trade. And come what may, you either close it out, or add to it.

Cuz there’s no need to take support and resistance that has been here for over 100s of years and rename it into order blocks, bullish accumulation manipulation distribution fair value gap smart money wyckoff candlestick pattern… And on top of that all these guys claim they invented these concepts, lol. Like I said, support & resistance has been here for over 100s of years, and no one invented anything. They simply took what was already there and put a label on it to make it look complicated. At least Nick doesn’t claim he invented support and resistance and says it like it is. Experience and intuition is a large part of being profitable.

You're mistaken - here's the context. You have 1M to trade forex. You put only 50K into an account. You risk a dollar amount you're comfortable risking, say, 5K per trade. You'd have to lose 10 trades in a row at a FULL stop out of -1R on EACH trade with NO management in order to blow the account. Risking 5K per trade is 10% of a 50K account, which you say is ridiculous, but you're undermining the fact that the 50K starting balance is only 5% of the 1M of trading capital. So, 5K is 10% of the small account, yes, and that's okay - because that 5K risk is only a 0.5% risk of the total trading capital. Half a percent. Risk is controlled, even if you blow the entire account, which is still incredibly unlikely, but will happen at some point. This is the context that I believe you lacked when first shaping your opinion, let me know if your opinion has changed bro!

So for instance if I only had a 10k account but took 1k trade with a 50% win rate then there is a very real possibility i could blow the account with the real possibility of a 10 loss losing streak. This was the context I was referring to. But if as your saying the 10K is simply a small part of a larger capital then yes I can now agree with your context as your not gonna have 1000 losses in a row to blow the entire capital of 1M.

What's the point then? Instead of vague beef you use groundfed beef, it's still meat. You are still risking same amount. If you lose 10 in a row you will loose same amount of money. The only explanation would be is that you don't trust your broker to give your money back.

Probability of 10 in a row @ 50% is 4.5% for a 100 trades. 38% for 1000. More important is risk of ruin, there are calculators for that. To get meaningful values use your capital for trading not your account size.

Nick, your argumentation is mathematically wrong. If your win / loss rate is 50/ 50; and your RR is 2:1 you probably wouldn't make money if you didn't manage the trades. If the win / loss is random, as you stipulate, the distance a deal "travels" is also random. I.e. with a 2:1 ratio it is double likely that the price will hit the loss first. I.e. your success is only due to you managing the deals.

Can you show us your P&L for the past year so people can see you're the real deal? I think you're the rea deal but my friends claim all the gurus are BS. If they see the P&L I can shove it in their face! P.S. plus it will make me win a bet! Lol!!
