I discovered you some days ago, and after watching 'how to study efficiently' video, i immediately hit 'subscribe'. it was an eye opener by itself. then i proceeded to watch more of your videos, and it was worth it. amy, thank you for your patience, and honesty, in sharing your journey, and all these amazing unpopular tips with us. i consider youtube as a huge distraction, but with your videos, it isnt. your videos made me realize that we all have a purpose in life, and we just really need to keep grinding until we reach a milestone out of nowhere. all along, i used to wait for life to happen. for that one milestone to reach. but after this, i want to just keep working hard. do my homeworks on time, study on time, use all those tips you mentioned (all of them are a big plus), and just keep going like this. key to stop thinking about milestones is patience. and as for me, i am a sick patient struggling with 'impatience' (please dont leave me-). i started meditating everyday for 10 mins. its an eye-opener itself. now i am starting small, but solid study sessions, to utilize every moment into building up that milestone i want to reach. you made us realize that our dreams can be turned into reality. we CAN do it. so world, fighting! lets be determined, and dedicated, keep watching @wAmy 's videos, and apply them! 'I will thrive, not just survive' thank you Amy, for such insightful content you provide to us. thank you, really. 💌💖

So grateful you stumbled upon my channel and that you appreciate my perspective. I believe everything is what we make of it. Social media and KZread can indeed be super helpful tools, life-changing in the positive sense. But if not used correctly, they can also change our life for worse, so I try to constantly evaluate whether I'm optimizing my actions, how I think, how I feel. And it's not a productivity guru sense, but in the natural, intuitive way of making sure that we are happy, doing things as smoothly as possible, and won't have regrets in the future. It's awesome that you joined our like-minded A-Team community where we're all trying to reach our potential and live our best lives! Milestones are created by ourselves just like success is by our own definition. Since we coexist in this society, some things like money we have to still have enough of to be comfortable, but at some point, as long as we're working hard and being true to ourselves, we are having success each and every day. I don't think of success as a thing you get at the end of working hard; rather, you're successful each day you make it a good day. It's a state of being. I'm also trying to meditate more! Really awesome that you're taking little steps because those habits are what compound over time. Jiayou! Fighting! ❤ Wishing you the best!

Exactly! It’s unrealistic to expect us normal folks to fight something that’s been scientifically researched and designed to occupy as much of our attention as possibly. It’s just not fair! It is worse than Instagram because even though it is less addictive, you can't delete it from your phone. I deleted Instagram and TikTok long ago because I noticed they were harmful to me. However, since I am unable to delete KZread, sometimes I waste a lot of time on KZread shorts. I am not able to stop doing something if I don't tackle the root issue, and how am I supposed to do that if I can't delete the app? The worst thing about this is that you don't realize how much time you are wasting until it is too much.

I've been thinking of deleting Snapchat since a month now as I'm just kinda fed up of wanting to open all those snaps n chats all day. I was scared tht my friends might be a bit mad if i break our long long snap streak cuz what's a teenager doing without a snap account??? ....but i realised that in the next 10 yrs it won't even matter what my snapstreaks are. There r too many more important things in life. Your video really really motivated me so much! Deleting Snap rn. 💪🏼💫 Thank you Amy ❤

16:28 reminds me of a quote "You’re not missing out because you have different priorities than everyone else" I almost watched all your videos and it's really an eye-opener for me since I always gave my average, somehow got grades that were considered good but not really best tbh I was pretty disappointed in myself too. But the mindset change I got after watching your videos is valuable, I finally got into the mindset of putting myself first and giving it my all. Thank you. ♡

The shoe story really brought tears to my eyes because my mom is a person that's always sick she has back pain, sciatica, neck pain and she asks me to do some small chores like putting the washed dishes in the racks or getting the dried clothes from the terrace etc.. and sometimes i'd tell her that I'd do it after eating or this or that and end up forgetting.. she doesn't ask me again and does those things by herself even in pain. I wouldn't even remember that she had asked me to do that stuff until the next day.

you talked about the exact things I've been noticing in myself when being addicted to social media, I'm less mind full and aware even about the miniscule things, I realzied that I was limiting my happiness and than I'll have a breakdown of how less productive I am becoming, which made me realize that you also don't have to be productive all the time, its okay to get slow sometimes, but I also had to be aware of the content I was consuming, if I 'slow down' a bit, I switched listening to Islamic videos and podcast, and (as I am a Muslim so I'm also trying to improve myself in terms of my religion), I also took time to understand and tell myself to value my life and the blessings I have (like I can make choices on my own, I have the capability, this the thing I pointed out and have been practicing to be grateful about, which had a great impact on me,) I noticed that now I'm kind of disgusted to 'mindlessly' scroll (I do binge watch sometimes) and now I'm automatically aware of what to consume! I struggled a lot with improving myself in these things, and wamy, I am also going to give you a credit, bcz of you, I have a bit stronger and matured mindset than before!❤ I'm so glad to be a part of A-team!🎉

Hey Amy. So... Alright lemme tell you: I confess that yes I have an addiction to social media. More specifically KZread. I actually have many addictions and most of them are related to my phone 📱. Now the thing is that I have severe depression and anxiety. The last few months I had mental breakdowns (at least 4 so far) and this had ruined my semester! Not even a few days ago I had such a powerful mental breakdown!!! It was INTENSE AF!!!! I've thought that I reached my lowest point before but MAN I WAS WRONG!!!!! I NEVER THOUGHT I COULD FEEL THAT LOW!!!!!! This is obviously affecting my capacity to study but not only that! Actually I have been struggling to do the most basic stuff actually! Such as washing myself, brushing my teeth, studying, practicing my hobbies etc. It's really gotten so bad that I cannot currently revise for my exam which is after tomorrow :( I really don't know what to do I don't even know why I am telling you all this 😅😅 I mean we talked initially about social media addiction. The point I was trying to get to was that I have addictions because of my shity mental health :/ Could you make a video about: how to manage to study even during a mental breakdown?? Could help SOOOO many people! I am sure I am not the only one needing a video like this Anyways thank you 💖🥰 so much for your videos and the great content you make!!! You're a great KZreadr!!!!

Thank you so much for this video. I recently deleted instagram and TikTok off of my phone and I now have a designated hour at the end of my day where I look at social media on my iPad. It genuinely does not bring me any joy unless I change my algorithm to positive content, much like this video, so there is not a lot that compels me to re-download it onto my phone. I’ve noticed, the same way that you did, that I am a lot more grateful and observant of the world around me, because I think as humans we are not designed to be exposed to so many other peoples lives. The constant comparison is absolutely a thief of joy. I am excited for this new life ahead without social media taking over my brain! We are so much more powerful than the world leads us to believe. ❤

Hi Amy, I watched so much of these “get your life back” videos and I honestly have to say this is the only video wich really helps me. I said always to myself “I have to delete this scrolling from my life but had every time the excuse that why can’t I be like normal kids in my age who don’t care if there wasting there life on social media. everyone does this so I can do to And now I know why I can’t, cause the kids will never achieve the things that I want to achieve, there highest dream isn’t to get into an Elite University like Oxford, they’re just don’t care about there grades. But I always did. And yes I also have these straight As and maybe it’s easier for me than for others. But I also ever wanted to be good because I want to achieve big goals in my life.
