I've had migraines in the past. They are absolutely crippling. Last time I had one was in 2019, the day after my birthday. I had to be hospitalized to rule out a stroke because I couldn't form sentences and I almost totally lost vision in my left eye. NEVER tell people they're just headaches. They're so much worse. They are all-consuming.

Hi Amy, not sure if you will see this but I feel like this video came at a much needed time where i've reached a break through in my life stopping feeling sorry for myself, and becoming more selfish in not letting others around me drag me down. I really agree that sometimes sacrifices need to made, but thats for anything worth having. And also not telling your desires and goals to others, because there will always be someone discrediting the life you want, and discouraging you from taking the actions to do so. Your messages are very helpful, and give me hope/motivation to do better for myself this year in school(and overall). I wish you all the best, and please continue to bring us videos with very helpful tips!

Thank you so much for this vid! I saw your videos before too but this one hit home. I struggled through high school with health issues too, mainly acid reflux and a hiatal hernia. It made studying so hard. I felt so bad seeing other people study and solve problems and me lying in bed all day with my medicines. I have my entrances in a few months, keeping the idea of having a rock and having a visual space to view your strengths keeps me going. Once again, thanks for this video Amy, keep up the good work of inspiring other people!

You are my inspiration to start a KZread channel! I especially love how you use your culture to explain concepts and express your views. Taylor being your inspo also made me realise how much of an idol she is to me, like people called her snake, but she took up that identity, made it iconic and now is benefitting from it, she's building a castle with the bricks they throw at her. OMG! You can find inspiration from literally anyone. Thank you so much! Wish you do your best always!

I try my best to endure it and study.. and I must say over a time.. my endurance has increased alot... I'm really grateful to you for sharing this video.. I'll surely apply it in my life. Oh my sweet baby Jesus, this is the first time I'm on your channel and girl you made me hit that subscribe button within the first 5 min!! Your words regarding you health have inspired me so much and I've left with such a huge life lesson: "we will never know when our time will be stolen from us", I was able to relate to it cause I too have been struggling with my health the past year, and migraines too, but not the extent of yours, I'm so proud of you to pull through because I didn't even have it as bad as you did, but I know that it feels like hell with that pounding pain in your head. It just left me to think how much of life I've spent wasting time and waiting for a miracle to happen; thanks for telling me I AM a miracle (your sperm fact lol). I loved your yin-yang philosophy and how it ties into transformation, hence manifestation, and how one without the other is stagnant process. Thanks for letting me walk away with such valuable information, love you!!

Hello Amy - your core comments are exactly what I want to share with "my group" due to the fact that I was an only child. I want to share those positive examples that someone CAN do what they dream of, even when facing adversity and negative advise from "friends" or even some family members. Thank You

You tell us to feel lucky, but I was already lucky that this video somehow came up in my KZread feed - and I wasn't even looking for self-improvement videos or stuff about life. I was just watching junk, like a pet puma pouncing on his owner (playfully) in bed, but in the back in my mind was 'You need a comeback.' And then this video materialized. I love how you don't do the usual YT vlogger schtick of offering sound bites or a list of to-do's. A comeback is not just changing your life, but creating a new one altogether, so it takes a whole new mindset. You nail it with mindset-behavior, and I love how you tie it in with your Chinese background with Yin-Yang and philosophies of balance. There is so much in Chinese philosophy that is directly applicable to life because much of life is about overcoming your demons, but you do that not by fighting yourself but by finding balance within yourself. Finding ways to survive in this world, to take care of those you love while staying true to yourself. And this speaks to action 3, creating goals that are truly yours. "The only way your comeback is truly yours is if YOU own it." I love that. Brings everything together. Once you know what you want out of yourself, you will know who YOU really are. And then you will know exactly what to do. That's when it call comes together. Your comeback. Thank you for energizing me. I think it really is time. After all, it's my year ;)

It was serendipitous to have stumbled upon this video today. I cannot tell you how much I needed to hear these things today, especially what you talk about at the end of your video. Lots of love from this new subscriber. Keep up the good work. Also, i have the same kind of migraines, used to be a lot worse but changing my diet and lifestyle drastically has helped manage it a lot (the key thing has been rainbow on my plate ... colourful fruits and vegetables in the correct no. Of servings ... just mentioning in case this helps you too, eating whole foods that support gut health and cutting out ultra processed foods completely - esp frozen foods and sugary foods, and intense cardio for at least 10 mins every morning). I feel what you must have been through. People with migraine issues struggle with serotonin... one key element that alters the level of one's motivation at the neurological level.... so I know the internal struggle you must have been through to achieve everything that you achieved. More power to you ❤

Hi this was very helpful. I have spent a lot of time trying to be obsessed with self improvement. I've read books such as Atomic habits and the subtle art of not giving a fck to name a few and what you have just said in this video only echoes the message in a more simplified manner I'm not saying that the books aren't simple to understand but me learning all this from different perspectives has been helpful. Thank you.❤

I catch cold so easily and body pain is part of my daily life.. and i get fever every month in winters.. and something get bed ridden for a month.. i always think why me... But I am trying to overcome it.. trying to accept it.. it's okay if I lost some time in sickness.. I am going to make full use of the rest of the time I get... ❤ Your video made me feel like oh I can do it.. just a change in mindset is needed ❤❤

Thank you very much!! Really appreciate this video. I used to have a pity party on myself on a daily basis. Hated my looks, country, social skills, etc. After reading stuff like stoicism, buddhism and some other stuff, I just realized thats all pointless. The mind is the most powerful thing that we humans have. We shape our reality based on our thoughts, *we* give meaning to an otherwise meaningless universe. "Whether you think you can, or you think you cant, youre right"

I've been advised to have an gratitude journal many times. but i never really paid any importance to it because i considered myself to be enough grateful and appreciative and well i was in fact but now that after seeing this video i put some thoughts into it , i was being grateful but it wasn't for myself. i was grateful just because i had to and i was told to. i was grateful to my parents (i am still ofc), i was grateful to my friends for giving me time (then they betrayed me) , i was grateful to everyone but myself. i was never grateful to me for my achievements or good deeds. all this time i assumed i was grateful but i wasn't sure about it tho. and one thing i'd like to tell everyone is being grateful to yourself is the most important before being grateful for someone else. now i just took out a journal , i was thinking of making it a journal for decorative purpose but ig i will just get a gratitude journal. : D . thank you very much and i am truly grateful to you for uploading this video and grateful to myself for watching it.
