You Don't Want BORING Hair. Get SHORTER Layers for Your LONG Hair.

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Creating all these fun shorter layers with a Stationary Guide! A stationary guide is a great way to maintain thickness but also give plenty of movement still by directing the hair all towards one area.
Be sure to check out last weeks video if you haven't already all about the difference between a traveling and stationary guide.

I'd be lost without your tutorials. I always panic in the salon when someone asks for the butterfly cut and things! I immedietly run and watch your videos. I'd really love you to show lots of short cuts and pixi cuts. A bit like kris jenner sort of cuts x

I like the pigtail cut, which I guess is a stationary guide cut with everything coming to the sides.

Thank you !!! I love How you twist ur fingers to keep the length. You're a life saver. I have so many clients who wants shorter layers in longer hair and i was constantly getting in my head about saving length. I definitely didn't learn this in school! We learned 4 haircuts ....Increased, graduated, solid and uniform.. ps i just graduated hair school in May and ive been looking all day for this video. Finally..... Some clarity .. Thank you so much!!!!

I’ve only had ONE stylist cut my hair like this but I can no longer see her due to moving away. How can I ask a new stylist for this? I was literally looking at my hair in the mirror and did the exact same thing with the face framing pieces and bringing it to the back trying to figure out how to tell my new stylist where to start the layers lol. Do you have a DIY video for this?

Hi Summer, i have been cutting my own hair for a while and its fine but i have alot of it at the back and this perfect for me however is there an easy way to do it with horizontal layers as i find it hard to do vertical layers on myself at the back especially as it is quite long? Thanks and really love your videos did a successful cut on my partners hair using one if your videos 😊

💡 idea: why don’t you show a split camera view or a Picture in Picture view so even when you have to block the view we can get an accurate idea of the best way to execute the cut 🙂

You are soooo pretty....but lighter on the blush/bronzer would be more flattering. Way too harsh of a contrast between your fair skin and the orange cheeks.
