I'm almost 57, fine yet full hair! I have had 1 amazing haircut and it was done with a Razor. Moved away and never again found a good stylist. Wishing I had you in my life! ❤️@@StylesBySummer
FINALLY, someone who totally gets my hair issues and tells what to do on each part of my head! Now if I could drive straight to you!❤😊 I'm 57 and keep seeking out videos that explain this....first one EVER...so THANK YOU!
I’ve been waiting my whole adult life 4 this video. I’ve been in the process of growing my hair out for 30 yrs b/c pple keep giving me the same haircut over & over & over again. They mess up the weight line royally & they have no ability to comprehend what I’m asking 4. I even use the term “weight line” & they still can’t do it. Thank u thank u THANK YOU!!!!!! If this was a still photo I’d have it tattooed on my body!!
I’d say most stylists are aware of this, but you present in a way that we have words to explain to the client why cut the way we do. 👏👏👏
I've had problems with stylist hacking all my thin hair away. I stopped going to salons for 10 yrs and just let my hair grow long but .. finally now I can make sure the stylist knows how to cut my thiiiiin hair. Thank you... You have been sent by the Thin Hair Gods!
I'm not a stylist, but I have very thin hair and stylists don't always handle it well. I tried cutting my hair with you and of course it's not perfect, but now I see what I wanted in my hair. Thank you, you make the best tutorial. Best regards from Poland!

Summer, this is absolutely the best tutorial I have ever seen for a longer length, layered cut for fine, thin hair! It is absolutely beautiful how you put in that many layers, brought out that much volume and movement, and yet left so much thickness in that mannequin's fine thin hair! Perfect choice of mannequin too, btw! As a fine thin haired person myself, point cutting scares the heck out of me... I've had it badly overdone on my hair before... but you smartly kept it to a minimum and it didn't hurt the final outcome at all. Dang it, I only wish I could have seen it last week, _before_ I got my hair cut!!! 😭 Not that I got a bad cut, but it was about as long as the "before" was here, and I went so much shorter to achieve volume than you clearly show I needed to. Well, at least the hot and humid days of summer are coming if my hair has to be on the short side for now. I am definitely saving this video for the future, though! You are so talented! This should be required learning for hair stylists because SO many don't know how to cut fine thin hair!

I have learned more with you than any other. You show, explain and reason your way of cutting depending on her type. I will always tune in and forward to my fellow workers your videos. Thank you so much.
Hi Summer! I’m definitely using this video for future reference. Although most of my hair is normally on the thicker side, the recession area is thinner. Your precision cutting and adding just the right amount of light surface layers & face framing is what makes you stand out above and beyond most stylists I’ve encountered. Wish they would take lessons from you! 👏

EXCELLENT!! This will be perfect for me and without that much "fussing". Thank you very much Summer!!!
Thank you for the fine hair, side part, high recession/sparse sides tutorial. Can't take as much off the sides for the face frame as is possible on your mannequin, but I like the layers in the back. Excellent!
Thank you for doing this tutorial for fine/thin hair. I really appreciate it.

Summer! Thanks so much for sharing your talent! I learn so much from your knowledge. I also want to share a little trick; apply volumizing product on previous dry hair ( about 75%dry) -and finish drying. You will see how much faster and much more volume it gives!!! 🙌😊
Beautifully done 💜loved this video . Thank you for sharing 😊

Thank you so much for doing this one. I finally fully understand how not to ruin my hair every time I layer it myself. I do a good job, but my last cut this month I did, I got out of control. The side front area is always my downfall!

Can you be my hair dresser 😉. I have baby fine hair and hair dressers in the hunter valley Australia have no clue on how to cut fine hair. They even thin my hair out when I tell them not too.

Love your videos but was really hoping to get some pointers on this cut on how to communicate this to my stylists ... Maybe I missed it ??
I love the back of your hair Summer! Can you do a video showing how to cut the layers in the back? How to get that fold curving into the center of the nape of the neck would be great! 💖

Great haircut. Are you by chance near Houston? I'd love for you to do my hair.
Omg now i know why i get a hole in the front of my hair!
I enjoy watching your videos. Do you cut hair for the public?
Lov this but I wd like it longer. Top layers...perfect.
I would love a hairstyle like this. Any recommendations in Sacramento area?
Thanks master❤❤❤❤👍👍👍🙏🏼
This is excellent Summer; but how to we get these instructions into our stylists hands and heads. Such a struggle to find someone who understands thin fine hair problems
Great video. I've only had "stylists" who seem fancy, but make my hair worse.
My stylist watches your videos with me to better understand what I’m telling her about how I want my hair to look. I have thick curly hair with some front recession, and have experienced hair atrocities over the years and want to speak up to avoid history repeating itself.

Absolutely love this! I literally have this mannequin’s hair!!! Before 😂
What if someone wants a style like a bixie that’s shorter in front? Or if the person has curly hair that just has no shape if the bottom is really blunt? Mine is curly and looks better with a rounded shape at the bottom. I like the bottom to be blunt but rounded. It’s hard to explain that to stylists. I like the ends to be blunt, but the overall shape can’t just be blunt at the bottom . The manes by Mel pigtail cut gives a good shape. I think I like it when the outer shape of the cut follows the shape of the face/head.
Do you have any tutorials for thick/course hair?
Wow you so good ❤❤❤❤❤
What color do you use summer
Now trying to find a stylist who can cut my fine hair the exact way is the hard part! Ugh.
Do you have a salon in Houston?
If only I can get them to even section the hair
I have all these issues and I also made all the mistakes you are addressing here. (I am not a hairstylist but have lost trust in anyone due to hair traumas over and over) therefore, I have cut my own hair and made a real mess. I have the holes behind the ears and I have severe recession also... it is a huge issue for me. Is it possible to remedy such errors in any way? Ugh😢
What color do you use ?
Can you recommend a stylist in Peoria Arizona who can do this haircut?
ITS LOOK SO GOOD CAN YOU SHOW US HOW DO THIS HAIRCUT WITH PONYTAILS FOR CUTTING ON MYSELF PLEASEEE

I'd also love to see this cut done using ponytails or any other tips on how to cut it on your own hair. The way you kept so much thickness is brilliant! I was also interested when you spoke about avoiding face frames on your own hair. I love your cut and am wondering whether you have many layers or you've done a video on how to achieve it? Thank you for the brilliant videos which you produce and your excellent explanations. @@StylesBySummer

One super sad thing I forgot. Several years ago Lindsey played the guitar on song by the group Delta Rea, called "If I loved you". The song is a woman telling a man she knows he loves her, but she doesn't love him back 😢 She knows he a good guy, but he needs to find love somewhere else. IMO When you know Stevie and Lindsey back story it make the song even sadder than it already is. Here's a link: kzread.info/dash/bejne/a5iamc-Bcs21ibA.html
Do you have your own salon? I would like to have you cut my hair

This video is meant for people to learn and assist in a visual example of how the hair should be cut. Sorry the most fine thin hair mannequin I've ever used, that still needs to have decent enough hair so I can run my comb through, to make a legible video wasn't thin enough for your liking.
