You Cant Do That On Television/ Turkey TV Marathon
Фильм және анимация
You Can't Do That on Television is a Canadian sketch comedy television series that first aired locally in 1979 before airing in the United States in 1981. It featured pre-teen and teenage actors in a sketch comedy format similar to that of American sketch comedy Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In and Canadian sketch comedy Second City Television. Each episode had a specific theme normally relating to the popular culture of the time.
During its original run, the show was seen as one and the same with the cable network Nickelodeon in its early years on the air, achieved high ratings, and is most famous for introducing the network's iconic green slime. The show was also notable for launching the careers of many performers, including alternative rock musician Alanis Morissette, filmmaker Patrick Mills, and television producer and screenwriter Bill Prady.

To me these shows are treasures. I was lucky to be a child in the 80's. We had such great shows, cartoons, and toys.
I would love to see every season of the show digitally remastered on DVD. 📀
One of my absolute fave shows. Now that I'm older, I appreciate Les Lye, he was such an awesome acting chameleon!

your damn right!
For 17 years I could barely recall the first 13 years of my life. I had Dissociative Amnesia. Watching this is therapeutic and helps me regain past memories. Too bad I wasn't warned by the dangers of the world by this show, as the person who abducted me should be lined up before a firing squad like in the show. I know this is a sad message. Be warned children! There are predators and predatory behaviors that can destroy your life.

Childhood favorite watching this now 🎥
I loved those shows growing up which brings back memories growing up in the 1980s back when times were laid back the time. Back when kids had real fun especially when every kid who pushed the envelope on what level of them having fun no matter how dangerous it was to whatever kid who was having fun playing and the to kids who liked to enjoy adventures of having fun by playing. I am still a big fan of these shows at 48 years old

Some of my best memories are of watching this show. I always felt it was different for us kids, it was a show that was all about us, not some adults trying to tell us how things are, but of kids. Between this and Double Dare, 1985-90 is Nickelodeon's golden era.

Why is this series not on DVD???? I can only find old VHS versions of it, and it doesn't do the show justice. This show was great, this and Turkey TV were the highlights of my days after school.
I miss the original blooper type TV shows. We all make mistakes but current TV has to be perfect. And Moose was super young on this episode. Her voice was much higher. This has to be in 79 before joining Nickelodeon. I enjoyed watching this
The Superhero Episode The kid wraps a trash can tie around his finger, and holds it up to the sky. "Flame On!" POOF! He turns into a bag full of garbage😝

Oh my god
The beginning stuff must have been before I started watching. I watched when we had moose, Alastair etc.
I have never seen the first season at all. I didn't even know that the show had musical segments. Not to offend but you can see that the first season is much slower paced than it ended up being in later seasons. You can see that they are feeling their feet and experimenting. First seasons are often like that. 9:02-Wow, Christine looked so young back then. Between this and Kid's Incorporated on Disney Channel, my after school was set! 50 Leses in the montage! I guess in this case Les really is more!😉😎 2:35:52-I am amused at the irony of two Canadian comedians suddenly singing "Dixie."

Not the Copyright again! To stop copyright, put videos from Internet archive to do Nickelodeon / Nick Jr. / Nick At Nite broadcasting from 1995 (with supporting Nick too a as Rugrats, Guts, Ren And Stimpy and even Rocko's Modern Life or Cartoon Kablooey) and you will going to unblock Looney Tunes when you do Nickelodeon WOC videos in a full version of Nickelodeon recordings from the 90s. And then, I will see your new video with Nickelodeon broadcasting shows (like Rugrats, Rocko's Modern Life and Ren And Stimpy, and also GUTS And Roundhouse as well) When you do Nick Jr. broadcasting, you will do episodes of Rugrats, The Alvin Show, The Muppet Show and also Gullah Gullah Island. Can you please do it without copyright infringement and just included Internet Archive videos of Nickelodeon 1990s WOCs?
