Because they were unhappy with the powerful platform the Wayans family was gaining. Fox put a stop to it and took the show from Keenan

Just think about it. Jim Carey, Shawn Marlon Damien and Damon Wayans, Jaimie Foxx, Tommy Davidson and more in the same show. Comedy overload

This was the best comedy show ever!! I was a freshman at college when this show came out. I was the only one on my floor in the dorms to have a TV…so on Sunday I would have 15 people crowded into my dorm room when In Living Color came on. We were as diverse as the show. White, black, Hispanic, Asian, Pakistani, even a Iranian and my room mate from Sri-Lanka. And just like the show we could make fun of ourselves and each other. No one got offended. Good times….we need MORE of that these days.

Could not have said it better myself! Bring back the time when comedy was edgy, unapologetic and actually funny. Back when we could laugh at ourselves and life without the backlash of hypersensitive chronically offended people. This show truly was an ethnic melting pot of real talent- something that I felt brought us together.

My mom and I would watch this when I was in high school, we would die rolling laughing every week. She passed away 4 years ago and whenever I see these skits I remember them exactly and can still hear my mom laughing. It’s sad but also beautiful. That’s what laughter should do.

The Wanda skits are some of the funniest stuff I’ve ever seen. When Jamie played Wanda on the dating game I was crying laughing

If you didn’t watch the show the night before, there was no way you’d keep up with the conversations in school the next day. Everything was quotable. For it’s time and place it was perfect. Just perfect.

@@Epitin Thank goodness that I'm not the only person that recognize this. It's funny that it's because of the comedy shows Fox lasted this long. The are like Subway with their $5 Dollar foot-long deals until the put the price up... After that, you see their viewership went downwards.

Man this show brings such nostalgia. I had no business watching this show as a kid but I would wait til my mom went to sleep and watch it on low right at the tv so no one could Catch me 😂

The Wayans built a dynasty from all the movies, stand up and this show. Much respect.

I will never forget Monday mornings in the locker room @ 8th grade, all of us girls reviewing what happened the night before on In Living Color! We always knew the "snap" of the week from Blaine & Anton! What Fire Marshall Bill did The Head Detectives case. Even what song the Fly Girls danced to! The list goes on & on of the contributions ILC had to my early teenage laughs & memories!. It was definitely the best comedy sketch show of its time!

Easy to pick out his laugh when he’s not in scenes. My Wife And Kids is when I really noticed.

Homey the Clown and Fire Marshal Bill were the two characters that always made me laugh the most. This show definitely helped to make Jim Carrey and Jamie Fox into big Hollywood stars.

The greatest comedy show ever! 🤣 Had me and my brothers walking around the house with stuffed socks bopping tf outta each other talking bout "homey don't play that!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I like the fact that the whole cast was together to present these bloopers. I think shows should adopt this concept and bring out specials at the end of the seasons with a collection of the bloopers. It would CERTAINLY be better than all the stupid game shows and 'reality' shows that infest the airwaves during the summer months.

I loved the Antwon character! Damon was hilarious on this show

Hmm...I somehow remember it being originally telecast on Sunday evenings for the first four years, with the final year moved to Thursday nights, unless you're referring to its run on syndication.

I miss this show so much... absolutely the best show on television!

Bloopers are awesome.

In Living Colour... the launching pad for dark, twisted, and amazingly high end bespoke comedy. Every culture, every race, every career, every social group, every body was lampooned and everyone seemed to get it, and love it... "hated it"... :) snap the fingers... it must have been a scream being on set, or more specifically, in the writers room. :)

They realized "Hey we're all Human and in this together!" The name "IN LIVING COLOR," was a perfect title for this show; it included Human beings of EVERY color!!!

this was a sunday night ritual followed by married with children. but in living color was ahead of its time and had an amazing cast and some of the best sketch comedy period.

I always said the Jim Carrey and Damon Wayans so should’ve made a comedy movie together. It’s too bad there was never a rider who could write a script around those two together. would’ve been hilarious

Yeah the only one they did together that I know of was “Earth Girls Are Easy” (1988)

I feel blessed to have been born in the era I was because I grew up with all the great shows like In Living Color, MadTV, SNL(when it was awesome) & I was there when prime time animated shows debuted! Life...is...good!

In living color and MadTV had greater heights than SNL ever did. Why SNL passed up on half each cast was our gain

This group of hilarious people kept my teen years full of laughter, I miss the early to mid 90's and the 80's as well.

One of the best shows ever so much talent. Was so sad when it went off the air.

This was during a low point of my life, but every Sunday night, these folks helped me tremendously!
