My mom taped Poochie for us when we were kids. It's great being a little kid in the 80s.

Love it. The Real Ghostbuster’s was my favorite as a child. I remember when I was 5, my dad rushed us to the basement due to a tornado so I snatched up my Kenner Proton Pack. Definitely had my priorities 😂

First I'm GLAD you and your family are okay! I can remember being a small boy and 🌪🌪tornado🌪🌪⚠️warnings⚠️⚠️ terrified me. I always grabbed my Mego Superheroes or my Hot Wheels. Later my Star Wars figures became my favorite toys. Especially my X-Wing and Tie👔Fighter. Sorry. Seriously though as a younger boy we lived in a Mobile Home. It was at the time state of the art. It was a big place. 3 bedrooms, a sunk in living room with a big partition that separated it from the huge kitchen. Our bathroom had a long counter top for the sinks. As well as a washer and dryer set, and a fully enclosed 🚿🛁tub/shower.🛀🚿 However no matter how big when 70 mph winds hit,⚡⛈🌩🌩⛈🌩⚡😳 struck ouside, wind gusts 🌫🌬🌪got stronger, and your home started to shake, rattle, rock, it was terrifying for a kid. One mid-day storm hit fast and hard. The sky got dark, it got WORSE in minutes. The clouds became ominous and fierce. Then the winds went from a breeze to knock down gusts over 50 mph. Hail hit and when your inside a Mobile Home you are supposed to not keep all your windows closed. The pressure can implode them? Well as the wind got more insane, hail hit the roof, 🌩⚡🌩lightning 🌩 and Thunder ⛈ blasted and shook the walls. My Dad was trying to open the windows when you felt this enormous pressure and intense shake and 💥💥BOOM!💥💥 Our windows on the rear left side of the home blew out! When storms got bad I always wanted to go to my Grandparents house. They had a basement and I always felt safe there. 🙏 Thankfully since we were close to a large lake, Lake Michigan, we didn't get hit directly with a 🌪tornado🌪 however later on, much later, about 25 years later, I learned my Dad had inoperable lung🫁cancer. I moved out by him to care for his last days. They gave him 6 months but he fought! He made it 18 months! The year before his death we had been hit with a series of nasty storms and unlike my childhood home, we weren't "protected" by a large great lake. Anyway one afternoon I was playing NFL GameDay on my newly acquired Playstation. My Dad yelled turn that D**N thing off and check the weather channels. There was a line of storms headed our way. It was like 2pm and by 3-3:30pm we'd be up to our butts in 🌩🌩🌩🌩lightning🌩🌩🌩🌩 rain and possibly damaging winds. A 🌪🌪tornado🌪🌪 watch was issued. By 3:00pm it became a ⚠️⚠️warning⚠️⚠️ as the sky again became more and more ominous and dark.☁️🌥🌧🌨☁️⛈🌩🌧⛈⛈🌩⚡🌩🌩🌤🌧🌫🌫🌫🌬⛈🌫🌫🌫🌬 The storm rolled in....the sun disappeared behind the🌤⛅🌥🌧🌩 We had a enclosed porch out front. The screens kept out bugs but not horizontal rain. The rain slowed and I stepped outside. Our neighbors were very nice and friendly people. The hubby owned the farm across the street. His wife was a nurse at the local hospital, and BOTH were first responders. We talked for a bit about the storm and he went back inside. About 15 20 minutes later another "wave" hit. This one the winds hit immediately and the rain was more sporadic. Then I saw IT! Across the farmer's field. I'm NOT a good judge of distance. My depth perception is non-existent. But there it was. Like an evil Hula Dancer. Rocking and swaying back & forth.🌪 This tornado was heading across the field and toward our town! At that point I felt a YANK on my collar! My Dad yelled GET IN THE HOUSE NOW! I went to the porch to check before we hit the basement. The 🌪Tornado🌪had changed it's direction. Instead of heading straight at us it took a 45⁰ right turn and went in that direction. SADLY we later learned that it went straight into a Mobile Home park. Destroying the entire park. The homes were ripped in half. Basically take your index finger and thumbs and make a L 7. These homes were split like your L-7 ripped in half. During the destruction of one home, a Dad and his baby were inside. The man held on for dear life, but was knocked unconscious and his child was thrown a considerable distance. The Father suffered a concussion, broken ribs, a broken ankle and arm. His baby died. I had really liked "storm chasing" and trying to catch a tornado 🌪 on video. This was in the 90's before the iPhone was everywhere. I saw first-hand how devastating, how dangerous, how deadly these🌪tornadoes🌪 can be. I decided that I couldn't make them seem like they were "entertainment" especially after knowing about that child dying. I understand that storm chasers PROVIDE a important learning process for understanding how these 🌪tornadoes🌪work and together they may learn how to create a even faster⚠️⚠️warning⚠️⚠️ process. But I couldn't do it. Also besides that, they are truly TERRIFYING! They are unpredictable, powerful, so fast and can turn so quickly, and unstoppable! One wrong turn, one wrong choice, or one wrong move and your car becomes a NASA Rocket!

DIC had many of the best shows in the 80's, 90's, and the 2000's (their movies were great). I seen all their shows from this company. I liked Inspector Gadget, The Littles, Rainbow Brite, Heathcliff, Kidd Video, Wolf Rock TV (later Wolf Rock Power Hour), Pole Position, Get Along Gang, Hulk Hogan's Rock 'N' Wrestling, Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, M.A.S.K., the 1st season of Care Bears (before losing the rights to Nelvana), Kissyfur, Ulysses 31, The Mysterious Cities of Gold, The Real Ghostbusters/Slimer! And The Real Ghostbusters, Dennis the Menace, the live-action Zoobilee Zoo, The Adventueres of Teddy Ruxpin, season 4 of the adult oriented show The Hitchhiker, Lady Lovely Locks, Dinosaucers, Beverly Hills Teens, StarCom, Alf, Alf Tales, The New Archies, Hello Kitty's Furry Tale Theater, C.O.P.S. (later renamed CyberCOPS in 1993, to prevent licensing issues with the similairy unrelated named long running live-action primetime police show Cops on Fox, which was gaining popularity, aired during the time, because of the "cyberpunk" fad), the later episodes of Alvin and the Chipmunks (now retitled as The Chipmunks), including the retool of season 8 as The Chipmunks Go to the Movies, Hey Vern, It's Ernest!, The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!, Captain N: The Game Master, the syndicated version of Captain N called Captain N & the Video Game Masters, Camp Candy, The Karate Kid, their version of G.I. Joe (a continuation made follwoing after the Sunbow/Marvel series and movie G.I. Joe: The Movie, and lost the rights to the show that lasted 2 seasons), Maxie's World, Ring Raiders, Something Else, The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3, The Wizard of Oz, New Kids on the Block, their first version of the first 3 seasons of Captain Planet and the Planeteers, their 1st and only Spanish-language show Pepe Plata, Swamp Thing, Hammerman, Chip and Pepper's Cartoon Madness, ProStars, Super Mario World, Wish Kid, Where's Waldo?, season 2 of Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures (which they acquired from Hanna-Barbera, but took out the CGI special effects that made the series popular in season 1, as well as Keanu Reeves, Alex Winter, George Carlin, and Bernie Casey from the roles they made famous in the original film version, DIC however only included the cast, which would go on to portray Bill & Ted on the short-lived 1992 live-action TV series that aired on Fox, since the show moved from CBS to Fox Kids with the Hanna-Barbera episodes from season 1 soon joining it in reruns during the rotation of season 2 of the show), the failed pilot Defenders of Dynatron City, Sgt. Kabukiman, N.Y.P.D., Super Dave: Daredevil for Hire, Battletoads, Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Double Dragon, Hurricanes, Madeline (, Sonic the Hedgehog SatAM, All-New Dennis the Menace, Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego?, Mario All Stars, Superhuman Samurai Syber-Sqaud, Rimba's Island, Tattooed Teenaged Alien Fighters From Beverly Hills, Street Sharks, Gadget Boy, Gadget Boy's Adventures in History, What-a-Mess, its dub of Sailor Moon, Ultraforce, Action Man, Siefried & Roy: Masters of the Impossbile, Inspector Gadget's Field Trip, Dino Vengers Featuring Street Sharks, Extreme Dinosaurs, Mummies Alive!, The Wacky World of Tex Avery, Pocket Dragon Adventures, Sonic Underground, Sabrina: The Animated Series, Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century, Archie's Weird Mysteries, Alienators: Evolution Continues, Mary-Kate and Ashley in Action!, Speed Racer X, Liberty's Kids, Stargate: Infinity, Super Duper Sumos, Strawberry Shortcake, Knights of the Zodiac (a dub of Saint Seiya), Sabrina's Secret Life, Trollz, Horseland, DinoSquad, Sushi Pack, and other past non-DIC shows that are in their company library, would be later acquired/distributed by DiC, like It's Punky Brewster, the repackaged version of The New Three Stooges, the Filmation Archie cartoons of the late 60's to mid 70's under the umbrella title “The Archies” (when those shows were running on The Family Channel in the early-mid 1990's), Bump in the Night, Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa, Nypernauts, Little Clowns of Happytown, the 80's version of The Berenstain Bears (possibly to tie in to the then-new animated series of the same name from 2003, from Nelvana airing on PBS at the time, when syndicated on the DiC Kids Network in the early-mid 2000's), All Dogs Go to Heaven: The Series, the 1967 anime Speed Racer (dubbed as Speed Racer Classic from the company), The New Adventures of Speed Racer, Ace Lightning, and The Smurfs.

DIC partnered with LBS with a quarterly series of 8 90-minute animated specials, under the umbrella title of the DIC-LBS Children’s Theatre, beginning with the 4th quarter. The properties to be used, will each contain 3 half-hour episodes from shows previously released and syndicated by LBS, with new footage and wraparounds. Theatre will go to the barter route, with 8 minutes and 10 for local.

Definitely got a subscription from me! I remember many of these cartoons from back in the day. I really miss the 70's and early 80's when Saturday mornings were always set aside for Cartoons! The 70's had the Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Show! The Superfriends Hour of Power with their enemies the Legion of Doom! Scooby-Doo and Mystery Inc. then later with Scrappy Dappy Dooooo!! The Littles was an oddball cartoon but it was fun to watch! Nowadays cartoons on "Network" 📺📺TV📺📺? It's non-existent! And that sucks! It really really sucks! Saturday🌄🌄mornings🌄🌄 were made for a couple things.....#1)Saturday morning = A DAY OFF! School/work! (#2)Saturday mornings are made for CARTOONS!! IT'S MEANT TO BE A VERY VERY LAZY DAY FOR PEOPLE. ESPECIALLY KIDS! Cartoons & Hot Wheels, or a different toy! Either way, you grabbed your toys, a glass of Kool-aid, a bowl of cereal(Fruity Pebbles, Trix, Lucky Charms, or Cocoa Pebbles! So many wonderful childhood memories and many of them began on Saturday mornings. We may not have had the internet, the X-Box, Playstation, or Nintendo back in the 70's, BUT we did have Pong, toys, and one thing thats been lost, OUR IMAGINATION! The present day may have far more technology, it may have more "information", and it also may be loaded with more gimmicky items than we had, but our time was by far more fun, more interesting, and far more family orientated. I'll take the 70's over the 2020's ANY TIME, ANYPLACE, or ANYWHERE! Sorry but the 2000's have been one big stinky, funky, retched, rancid, rank, raw, rotten, and ONE BIG EWWWWWWWW 💩💩💩💩💩 TERD!

That animation in that bible cartoon The Kingdom Chums: Little David's Adventure, just almost looked like a Care Bears rip-off and wat better than its Saturday morning Inspector Gadget, Rainbow Brite, and The Real Ghostbusters cartoons. On the character David, I suppose he has suffered greater indiginities than being turned into a religious Care Bear.
