You cannot improve the PRECISION of this jigsaw fence 🔥

Ойын-сауық

It is not easy at all making very precise cuts in wood with the jigsaw. I will IMPROVE that. The jigsaw is a very versatile woodworking and DIY tool, but it is difficult to make very precise straight cuts that also have a perfect vertical cut. So let's see how to make a jigsaw side fence which, together with my guide with bearings for perfect vertical cuts, allows us to cut with the precision of a circular saw. This jigsaw fence is a very easy to make and to use woodworking idea. Also, if you are looking for woodworking tricks for beginners, this jigsaw guide will be very useful.

    Yes, it works so well due to that contraption. I show in my channel how I made it, and it is not a very difficult making. Also, with this fence I can make good quality cuts at an angle that are not easy to make in the table saw. I just pre-cut with the jigsaw without the contraption and then I make the final precise cut using this fence 🙂

    Juste une petite question, tu dessines une fléche rouge contre ton guide et quand tu t'en sers, tu mets la flèche de l'autre côté le long du trait de coupe. Du coup, je ne comprend pas bien à quoi elle sert.

  • @diyandwood

    @diyandwood

    Жыл бұрын

    Cela n'a pas beaucoup d'importance. C'est pour savoir quelle est la coupe d'usine. Juste au cas où la coupe que je fais serait un peu tordue. La flèche m'aide aussi à savoir que cette petite bande de contreplaqué est celle que j'utilise pour ce guide de coupe, et donc je sais qu'il ne faut pas la jeter ou l'utiliser pour autre chose 😁
