DISCOVER this Woodworking Trick for clean cuts with the jigsaw

I use methacrylate to make a base for the jigsaw that allows to make super clean cuts in the wood. This base is very easy to make and helps to hold the fibers of the wood so that they do not break when the cutting blade of the jigsaw moves upwards. Look at the result when cutting plywood. Thanks to this zero clearance jigsaw shoe the clean cut we can make is incredible. Great to avoid tearout in wood.

Just pause the video I might be jumping the gun but can you use the dremmel drill press if it’s only thing you have. And are items listed.

Gute Idee, aber bei der Umsetzung hätte ich die vier Löcher in die Grundplatte der Säge gebohrt. So kannst du sicher sein das sich die Verschraubung bei den Vibrationen nicht löst...

Why not just drill the holes in the baseplate and mount the perspex directly to it without all the washers.

Bueno, en mi canal en Español lo hago con una chapa delgada de contrachapado. Fácil y mucho más barato 😀

Habe ich mich im ersten Augenblick auch gefragt, aber dann den Grund gesehen. Weil bei dieser Stichsäge der Sägeschuh hinten dünner ist. Vorne ist die Kante höher. Kann man gut bei 6:03 erkennen.

All I want for Christmas is 'straight cuts" boo hoo!!! 😢!! I have two circular saws, (one is cordless) one mini circular saw, a corded jig saw and a cordless jig saw, and a Multi tooler - that cuts, but I just don't get a straight cut !!! I almost had a straight perfect cut, but it wavered at the end and went off in a different direction. Maybe I just need a man to go with all these power tools😫
