Jim was never 'poor' or 'rubbish'! He was brilliant in a show that felt like the studio budget didn't stretch far enough and he was doing about five people's work. He was great at thinking on his feet, always honest and always entertaining. I watch the re-runs every day and always enjoy them. RIP Jim.

It was the best game show on TV and has never been beaten by anything else, it was exciting, built up to a climax....often depending on the very final dart...Jim Bowen was excellent, the best game show host on TV...he was funny, warm, quick witted, seemed genuinely happy for the winners and genuinely disappointed and empathetic when they failed. However, contrary to what this documentary says, the best Jim Bowen was in the very beginning of the show, the first series or two, when he seemed to have more free rein to improvise and commentate on the game, he would make up booby prizes for when the contestants hit the black etc those were the funniest of all. I miss Jim Bowen but am pleased they still televise the old shows and that there were quite a lot! A lot of the prizes seemed directed at house chores! DIY equipment, cooking appliances, garden tools etc! I got one of the prize board prizes for Christmas as a child, a pocket Sinclair 2" black and white TV.

Yep you can't deny it, was part of my childhood was watching Bully. You'd never miss it, and we were from down South, so that bit about it being a Northerners thing, nah, as Bristow, Deller and so on weren't from up North so darts was darts.

Oddly enough, I was introduced to Bullseye through another darts documentary that I came across on KZread. After watching as many episodes as I could, it became one of my favorite game shows of all time.

Did you here John Lowe say Bullseye was like fish and chips, it's very British, John should go and tell that to Gary Lineker. Bullseye was great, my favourite part was watching the dart players trying to win money for the peoples charities. They don't make game shows like that anymore that involve the general public, we are swamped with bloody celebrities on the shows. It should be the public who are on these shows winning money.

It just wouldn't be the same without Jim and Tony.. so it's a no from me. All these programmes they bring back just aren't the same without the original presenters, especially when they use rilen Clark or Stephen mulhern for every programme

The smaller prizes on Bullseye (and Blankety Blank for that matter) didn't age well. Even with the limits on what they could give away.

35mins. I heard Paddy mcGuinness is giving it a try, Yes he killed off Question Of Sport (I dont think sue Barker did it any favours) & was on the last series of Top Gear. but it needs ,someone northern, warm, & working class, & not become a woke parody of what it was..
