To those of a certain generation, this will take us back to the days of when Sundays meant it was nearly time for bath, and bed. Then Monday morning and school the next day! Top show! Jim Bowen gone but NEVER forgotten!

Yeah that was the old Sunday routine, and watching them back now it's "we had one of them in our house when I was a kid" when you look at the prize board or "tenner says Bully's star prize is a speedboat"

I have fond memories of watching this show with my dear Nanny. She sadly passed away right at the end of 2017, never got to see 2018. Whenever I feel lonely, I'll put on a rerun of Bullseye and reminisce of the times we used to watch this together. Farewell Nan. May you rest in peace with Grandpa and Jim.

I was born in 1984 and had only the vaguest memories of Bullseye on a Sat night when I was about 9, so I couldn't even appreciate Peter Kay's piss-take of it. It's 2020 and I've got ADDICTED to it on Challenge! I've never thrown a dart in my life but it's honestly more fun and suspenseful than ANY gameshow I've ever seen. It's also such a friendly show: Tony Green is brilliantly supportive to everyone. But mostly, I'm amazed by how warm, funny, informal, natural and off-the-cuff Jim Bowen is (RIP). I'm fascinated by his ability to connect with every contestant. I truly don't think any gameshow host, right up to 2020, has ever surpassed him.

As someone who lives across the pond in Canada, I find this show interesting. Also, the logo on the guy in the blue shirt looks like a Toronto Blue Jays one. I wonder how he came about that in an area where baseball isn't all that popular?

the first ever live broadcast of a baseball game in the UK was the 1993 World Series, which the Blue Jays won. This show was from 1990, so I guess this guy was ahead of the curve, or maybe he had Canadian relatives, like me. My Canadian grandmother watched Bullseye every week with the family up until her death in '92.

@@iansmith8263 Sounds like the UK picked a good series to start broadcasting live MLB games. When the Blue Jays' Joe Carter hit the home run to win it for Toronto in game 6 of the '93 World Series, it was only the second time ever it was won in that fashion. The Jays still play in the same stadium, but with newer turf. Also, although some people still call it SkyDome, it's now officially known as Rogers Centre. Cheers from Thunder Bay, Ontario. ;)
