Yes. Some people are changed by books that we read. Some people aren't. For those of us who are, the books that we re-read repeatedly and come back to again and again are real indicators of who we are as people.

Absolutely. Books have a profound impact on shaping our perspectives and character. The ones we revisit time and again often hold a mirror to our souls, reflecting our deepest values and beliefs. They become more than just words on a page; they're companions on our journey of self-discovery and growth.

Not only do we ourselves change, but we need to remember that every time we meet someone, no matter how familiar they are to us, that they are probably a slightly different person, may have slightly different thoughts and outlooks than the last time we met them or talked with them. Stay open. Stay curious. Keep learning.

As we age we see things in a different light because we ourselves change with each passing year and decade. We must change. There's only change and death.

Great meditation to start the day. This and my dreams last night told me that I need to refresh with some of the classics. Repurchasing #Poetics today to get a renewed sense of the logos, mythos, pathos, kairos, & ethos of what drives #Rhetoric

Your commitment to morning meditation and revisiting the classics reflects admirable dedication. In embracing Aristotle's "Poetics," you seek deeper understanding of the driving forces behind human existence. May your pursuit of wisdom be met with enlightenment and inner strength.

Stoicism is the kinda like pre-cursor of Christianity. Stoicism existed even before Christianity. Infact, Stoicism has a significant influence on Christianity. The time of Marcus Aurelius was early Christianity times, and his cruel son Commodus even persecuted some of the Early Christians. ill-knowledged people blame that Marcus persecuted them, but although he didn't.

You've got it all wrong. Art Abides and thats true, however, you can never experience art like you did the first time once (when it's new to you). Art may awe you again and again, however, you can never feel the same awe as you felt the first time. Complying the fact that the universe is always in a constant flow, always moving.
