The yomawari series is probably my favorite horror game series, super excited for this!!!

Yes!!! The Yomawari games are always fantastic! "Yomawari: Night Alone" was the first game via 2015 which was a unique survival horror game. Followed up by "Yomawari: Midnight Shadows" via 2017 which was another bloody good survival horror game. You can play both games by picking up the "Yomawari Long Night Collection" which comes with both games as mentioned above. Cannot wait to play this 'Lost in the Dark' third game of the Yomawari series!

so it's like "Yomawari 3"... between Xenoblade, some metroivania, Hollow knight, Bayonetta 3, i am hesitating on picking this game now

Yomawari games are so good. If anyone is interested in this, I'd recommend checking out the first 2 games, they're on Switch as a double pack :)

@@ephemeralexistence578 Mostly their own entity but Midnight Shadows has some references to Night Alone. So while the order doesn't really matter, I still recommend to play Night Alone first, to fully understand Midnight Shadows

Check out some KZread videos of the first two games or the collection itself to see if it's up your alley.

@@drowningin Both titles are independent from each other, but Midnight Shadows has some references to Night Alone. I recommend playing Night Alone first, though it's not really required to understand the story of both games

@@InnerRise Definitely the atmosphere. The Yomawari series uses almost no music, the only sounds are the monsters and ambience, such as the buzzing of vending machines or your footsteps. Additionally, you always die in one hit, forcing you to not just rush around a corner as there might be a monster. What I'm trying to say is that the games aren't really your typical horror games in terms of jumpscares or something being gross to look at. The atmosphere just makes you feel alone and unsafe all the time. The Yomawari games don't want to scare you, they just want to make you uncomfortable or uneasy.

Story looks pretty interesting but the music sounds super good

Sold. 100% will buy this when it comes out. Looks really fun, and i like horror games like this. Sure it’s small child, scary world, but the formula works, and it seems great. Can’t wait to try it out

Bought this game on physical when it first released. It’s amazing. Absolutely amazing.

The princess of horror games is back! The Long Night Collection is a masterful work of art! The dark library scene in the original games felt like an episode from the twilight zone!

I love the Yomawari series, and this one looks very promising, might have to check it out. 👀

I just recently bought the first two games in this series, so this came just in time.

It looks beautiful and intriguing.

I just love almost anything that Nippon Ichie Software release but this series are my personal favorites, thank goodness it didn't stay only in Japan

The first two Yomawari games had no music except for the main theme, and that's probably true for this game too, but the music is really good regardless.
