I loved your video and recipe. The instructions are easy to follow and make it look easy even though it’s not. I especially loved your singing! As a growing young girl, I used to help my Yaya make this for many years. She’s now in heaven and your video brought back many beautiful memories! Your Tsoureki is a work of art. I buy this bread here in Dayton, Ohio at the Greek Festival each September held at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox church. Such a fun and delicious festival.

My Yiayia's recipe was lost years ago and all my mum and my aunts remember is that it had twelve eggs. I will try your recipe and see if it is the same. I would be so happy if I get to taste my Yiayia's Tsoureki again. Wishin you and your family a happy Easter and stay safe!

Depending on where your family originated, some people use mastica instead of mahlepi.

Hi Yiayia - I'm a full greek (I'm on right) but my mother (on left) passed away and unfortunately she would NOT teach me anything and she was the best cook EVER :( I found you BUT you didn't write down the ingredients so I'm still lost and I would like to make our greek bread and teach my little girl (in the middle) - please help me!
