Jeb Kush the complexity of motherly love is simpler and often more valuably attached to a person’s childhood. Hence, the term yesterday serving its purpose both as a reminder of how fast time goes by and implying how futile success in life is without sharing it or spreading the love. “Said something wrong” could be interpreted as teenage rebellion or the lack of appreciation one can grow in their life when they fail to realise and learn from the elderly and wise people. Not to say that it cannot be interpreted as a love song, but if it is written as a epitaph then that’s a beautiful interpretation too.

Schmutzgreifer, First, Thank You for caring for these people. I imagine it is both difficult and rewarding. Also would like to tell you my perspective. I had a dear lady friend that I hadn't seen in many years. I was contacted by her sister and told she was in a nursing home with dementia and failing health. When I met the sister prior to my visit I was told to not "get my hopes up" because "Cheryl" may not even recognize me and that she hadn't smiled in quite a long time. (I would like to note that this girl LOVED her music when she was young) When I walked in the room she broke into a big smile. Then when I put headphones on her with her favorite music (Al Green, Aretha, Percy Sledge) She started dancing in the bed and singing along (every word). It was amazing to see her transformation! For several hours she was lucid and "her old self"....and more importantly HAPPY.

But I wanted to bring out clearly the two outstanding and unmatched John Lennon and Paul McCartney. And I also do not forget Ringo, who didn't just make his contribution. He was also great. Also I think they were wearing Make Up. I have always wondered if part of Yesterday was about his mother Mary passing away. from what I have read Paul did not know she was sick and had cancer till after her passing. The verse "Why she had to go I don't know she wouldn't say, I said something wrong Now I long for yesterday"

Spanish Moustache Paul is literally 77, my grandma is 79 and she’s super healthy. My grandpa is in his 80s and they both have friends that I have met that are around there age. Also the average human life span is 79.
