I gotta say man, I really like your conversational way of talking about tech. You make it easy to determine if I even care about the more in depth particulars of a specific product which I can dig into on my own, or not. All while still offering a good amount of detail, and touching on all the things that users of a given product would be looking for info on. I'm a tech nerd myself, but sometimes I just want an informative overview that touches on the things that matter. You provide just that. You address every concern I'd have for either of these monitors, and you do it without the too-high energy and over-hyped style that so many other tech creators use. Thanks for giving us a dope, informative but relaxed view of modern tech!

Surprised no KZreadr is mentioning the issues with Dolby Vision HDR on PC. The algorithm locks the details around the True Black HDR 400 range and the brightness beyond that is clipped. This is on the latest Nvidia 546.33 driver and reverting to 546.17 removes the Dolby Vision lock and the monitor will be able to ise the full HDR 1000 setting. *Using HDMI 2.1*

1:33 it is not odd, HDMI is getting more and more on the redundant side. I love the extra DP port and the included DP to usb-c cable that allows me to collect my ipad or laptop if I want to.

Any chance you can do a tutorial on setting up the 27, I just bought it and am having trouble with HDR and all the different settings. Turn on windows hdr, smart hdr, the hdr setting on the monitor, hdr in game? If I don’t have hdr in game but hdr is on what happens I’m cknfused

The one problem i have with oled is the abl in certain conditions in hdr gaming, in forza the sky kept flickering(not vrr) and in armored core 6 whenever there was a huge explosion it would just go dim and it was super annoying, the edges of my screen were also just not affected by hdr at all, it was dead looking, how are large bright spots with these monitors?

I’m also curious about this, I have the aw34 and the hdr1000 mode looks amazing but the dimming is really noticeable and brightness fluctuates a ton in games, it’s weird because I also have the s95b and have never noticed this in hdr mode. Does the new aw32 suffer from this as well?

Definitely pulling the trigger in one of these at the end of the year. My PC can't really run 4k, so big doubts in my side if I should go with 1440p or with future prove 4k

Future Games need Future High End Hardware to enjoy 4k/240Hz. Unless you are willing to spend big Money on the absolute best Hardware (like the RTX4090) I would recommend sticking with 1440p. I run a 4070ti atm. 1440p really is the sweetspot for this GPU 👍

I can't wait to get one of these new QD-OLEDs but I am going to hold off til Summer and see what prices are like and after some long term reviews start happening. But I have the LG 32GQ950-B 4K 144Hz nano-ips. basically LG's top IPS they make and it does have an amazing picture. So I have hold off 6 months and revisit OLEDs then.

@@MrDamonLeBeouf I am dying for a new 34" or 38" Oled from Dell. Can't emphasize the Dell part enough. I've had 2 of their monitors die on me and the RMA is amazing. Overnighted me a new one and put the old one in the box. So, with the Oleds and the burn in protection, they'll have my business again.
