And now for our Yellowstone Adventure Part 2! If you missed Part 1 sharing our first time being bus tour guides through Yellowstone National Park, you can check it out here: • YELLOWSTONE PART 1 | W...
After leaving the Lippert Getaway in Idaho, we headed into the park with a subscriber to stay at Fishing Bridge Campground for the first time! Since we didn’t have a chance to stop at the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone on our bus tour, we had to take an evening drive to see the incredible view and the stunning power of the water at the Brink of the Upper Falls.
This is a side of Yellowstone that many don’t know about and one that we highly recommend you take the time to stop and see!
Driving around at sunrise or sunset is the best time to see wildlife in the park (well, in any park!), and it always creates the most beautiful light to capture them! There is something really magical about seeing the massive buffalo of Yellowstone against the light pink of the setting sun.
While packing up the RV that night for a very early departure to see sunrise (and because it was going to get down to 27 degrees), we realized that one of the valves on our water system was broken and would not allow us to switch the system over to dry camping…aka, without water hookups, we were dead in the water. Pun intended!
On our way out, we decided to stop at an area of the park that we had never seen before - West Thumb! And I can promise you, it won’t be our last time visiting that incredible place!
Stay tuned for next week as we head to Mesa Verde and try to avoid stopping at all of the distracting places along the way! Be sure to like and subscribe and click on the bell icon for notifications when we release new videos!
Don’t wait to live your life, find your 🔆SOMEDAY🔆 now!

I was one of those people watching the Elk carcass. Got lots of pictures of eagles feeding on it and finally at dusk nine days after it was fist spotted a grizzly came down to feed on it. The elk was killed in a rut battle. Ranger said the wolf biologist flew a drone over and it had a puncture wound in its side. It only took ten days for the carcass to be totally devoured and only bones left.

You are so RIGHT that going to a site and experiencing it provides the best education for our children!! In 2019, we took almost a month to go from Rhode Island to Kansas City and back again, stopping at lots of places along the way. One of those stops was Gettysburg. My (then) 16 year old had been studying the Civil War, as he stood on top of Little Round Top he commented, "NOW I understand why this spot was so important to control!" Learning at it's best!

What a wonderful experience for your children! History and science become real life in front of their eyes. Not to mention that I believe it is so important for our children to understand that people around even just our country let alone the world, have different ways of living life and cultures and experiences. As an adult, it helps to give me perspective, and I believe it is a very important part of growing up and becoming more mature when our kids get that perspective as well. Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment!

It gets cold there early - I tried to drive in the entrance from the Beartooth Highway on Sept. 20, 2019 and a winter storm closed the road. So then I drove to the Cody entrance and that road was iced up and closed halfway into the park….I gave up and headed for Colorado. So I guess you were lucky to be in there on the 26th. The rest of my trip was great anyway - the Badlands were very cool.

Wow, another stunning video... The videography with the music you guys capture alone with the lifetime of memories with the girls is so enlightening 🥰. Our very first road trip with our girls was Yellowstone/Tetons (in tents😳) it was amazing. Retiring soon and upgrading our Outback 328RL to the GD Solitude 376rd so that we can be on the road more and hopefully bring the grandbabies to Yellowstone/Tetons especially the boondocking place in the Tetons as they are my favorite spot and also go south in the winter Minnesota is getting to cold in the winter.. if you are ever in the MN and looking for a National park, Voyageurs National Park on the border is beautiful... we have a big boat we could show around 🥰

So - we did that West Thumb hike in 2020 right before Covid locked things down - February - the lake was frozen and we hiked along that trail & were hiking ABOVE the railings there because so much snow. I’ve never been so COLD! One of the hot springs in the lake was still open - all else was frozen solid….

I hate to say this but your plumbing is wrong on the back of your pannel Grand Design is famous for this surprised you have not had a ton of leaks.

Never had a leak, just a couple of broken valves. What specifically do you see that’s wrong , or too much to mention 🫣

Did you have to have a ranger accompany you on some of the spots you shot as a condition of your film permit or did you not get one? I don’t think the rules have changed since Kara and Nate got fined for filming there for their KZread channel. It’s why I no longer film in National Parks anymore. So many wonderful places to film and not be hassled about filming.
