The longing for random, busted cars is real. I wish I could have a whole fleet of “hoopties.”

Wow, so well said, I love this choice of words. Boils it all down succinctly and beautifully. Really beautiful expensive new fast powerful cars seem very sterile to me in a way, its like buying from H&M compared to a thrift store, every one has its own unique story and history and quirks, so that you can never have too many of them because they are all such individualistic natures to them, somewhat ironically because they were "mass-produced" vehicles. I would be willing to spend an inordinate amount of money buying hundreds of aerostars if I had the means, and I'm ok with that.

Yea who knows may have been a relatively easy fix, I think It would have been a great manual transmission swap, I think they are fairly simple because it was a factory option so all the engineering is done...

Yea unfortunately yet predictably it disappeared right after I shot this episode, kind of ripping the band-aid off for me, if it kept sitting there I probably would have slowly convinced myself to just buy it. I'm always on the look-out...
