Yao Ming is one of the most underrated players of all-time. He had a smooth free throw and midrange game. A 7'5 mix between Shaq and Dirk. Unreal.

How AugFirst 卡佩拉给魔兽打替补，不同队后每次遇到晚年魔兽都被教育，而巅峰魔兽每次遇到姚明都吃瘪。这两人除了年薪，根本没有可比性。
我好懷念那段每天為了火箭隊的比賽歡呼、神傷的日子，現在的NBA只是看看而已，再也不會像那時一樣有一個人，有一隻球隊牽動著我的所有心思。帶我進入NBA，帶走了我的青春，感謝你，姚明。

After watching Yao many times, I starting to realize something about Yao. He is like Kobe, Shaq that he takes each game seriously and always giving his all in every game. Those rare players. It's not just the talent, it is the discipline and approach every game, be willing to work more than everybody else. I think that is what separate the very talented and the hall of fame.

That is Kobe’s infamous dirty play, just running sideway into defensive player’s knee. He did it to several players in his career, with varying degrees of damage.

@@dhui777 for the rubio one watch closely 0:10 - 0:12 .. kobe's leg didn't even touch with rubio's knee at all. As for the 2nd vid it's just a bunch of dirty plays sure but i see no "infamous" dirty plays.

Marcus Wolve, of course, Kobe's knee hit Rubio at 0:10-0:12. The particular camera angle does not show the impact. A young man like Rubio doesn't just tear his ACL crouching. As for the other video, at 3:47, the same infamous play is applied on Bibby. Fortunately, Bibby's weight was not locked on his right foot, or his ligament would have been torn as well.

Soj. H if you have any sources of other camera angles then please provide. I’ve replayed more than 10 times and clearly kobe’s knee didn’t hit. If it hit kobe would’ve staggered during his step but he didn’t. There was also another comment who observed the same.

One of the smoothest shooting big men ever....he was gifted with his shooting, being so big though takes toll on your knees and toes and you can see how labored his movement is sometimes but man he had some of the nicest moves and shooting....fade aways!

謝謝你的視頻. 當年yao 真的可惜. T-mac , Yao, Artest+battier 二個防守大鎖, scola, 最後T-mac 傷了, yao 獨力下都打到殘...到現在我也不明為何簽了星級控衛francise ,但一直不出. 如果齊陣, Yao, T-mac, Artest, Battier, francise, 後備還有個 brook + scola
this was yao's prime even if short lived. he was still very timid the first few years with t-mac playing sidekick and deferred the superstar responsibilities to him. but this was the playoffs we knew t-mac wasn't the same anymore after constant injuries and yao accepted the role as the franchise player and played like one. played like he knew he was the best center in the league if not best player. confidence was at all time high. had t-mac been healthy for this postseason i think we had a legitimate chance at the title.
我可以理解一部分姚明当时的心情，就是机会给到我了，我有一丝可能抓住他我就不会松手，我也不想让队友的努力付诸东流！

No. Rockets only advance when TMac did not play at all. TMac never advanced past the 1st round while playing significant minutes. Only other time TMac advanced was when he rode the 2013 Spurs' bench. He played 5 minutes in the 1st round and 31 total in the playoffs. TL;DR TMac is overrated

很有趣，當年在討論區，說過一句話。 那時候湖人很強，除了Kobe外，禁區也是凌駕對手 但我這麼說，沒有檢康因素的話，沒有季後賽隊伍能贏湖人 唯一有可能打敗湖人的就是火箭。 這句話不是說火箭就會贏，而是姚明能威脅湖人禁區 火箭是唯一能削弱湖人所有優勢，剩下的就是看Kobe骰到大還小，那個無解要看運氣 至少有Battier，能帶來一點限制也就夠了 可惜了，姚明受傷，讓我們看不到結果。
看最后采访还以为自己伤没大事。。。。哎，当初这场看得难受

Top 10 is too much. There's Wilt, Bill, Kareem, Shaq, Hakeem, Robinson, M Malone, Parish, Wes, Mikan, Ewing, McAdoo. Definitely top 20 in my books. If only he and McGrady stayed healthy and stuck with each other, I believe they would have taken at least 1 ring in the 2010s.

现在重温当年的比赛，真的觉得姚是个战士，能够扛起球队。当时并没有觉得他那么优秀。姚之后很难有这么强的中国篮球选手了。

小時後看球仲覺得控球後衛很帥各種過人上籃得分很爽...現在看以前大中鋒時代的NBA打得才叫激烈 特別是奧尼爾和姚明的對抗..有絕對的身高再加上一手超準的罰球..內線根本恐怖隨便起手就是2加1 罰球還巨準..中鋒能投的真沒幾個

Zhou Chen 篮球这项运动，身高就是最大的天赋。没有几个人能像他这么高，像他这么高的远没有他的灵活性（增重前还要更恐怖）。从02到现在将近二十年，NBA还没有出现一个像姚明这样的大个子，中国可能50年都不会出一个，这就是天赋。

完美谈不上.因为职业生涯太短.但是姚明是最努力的中锋之一.他的中投和罚篮是真的够准！没办法黄种人的身体素质的确不如黑人.看看奥尼尔.谁敢跟他撞.姚明太容易受伤了！姚明经常在篮下打硬仗！这其实很危险！
我是08年奥运会才开始看篮球，打篮球，几乎湖人和火箭的比赛场场都看，怀念那时的NBA，那时的强队每个球队几乎都有自己的特色打法，不像现在没什么看头，

It's almost impossible though at his size. He's already so well coordinated for a guy his height. Other guys his height usually can't shoot at all. He's mobile. Playing 10 years in the nba was actually pretty good. Legs and knees don't usually hold up. I'm susprised he can still walk properly because right now he's even heavier than when he was playing

Forget about the bigger upper body. The only thing Yao needs is durability.

但他就是为了我们国家的篮球付出了巨大的贡献 并且就是我们国家篮球的历史第一人 这才是重点 台湾人还是别往自己脸上贴金了 你们引以为傲的林志杰最高成就也只是在CBA打球罢了 呵呵
