If it was, then there wouldn't be drug lords, war lords, blood diamond profiteers, child prostitution rings and human trafficking prevalent in this world. I remember watching this game on TV 8 years ago. I was living in New York and at the time this was considered Jeremy Lin's big test to see if he can keep the streak going against Kobe and the Lakers, and Lin came through and inspired so many people for outdueling the Lakers. Those were great memories back in the day. Now reflecting on Kobe Bryant's passing, its very sad thinking about the memories he gave us even for a fan base that was rooting against him in that game, just the aspect of outscoring Kobe and defeating the Lakers is a big part of what really fueled Linsanity. My thoughts and prayers are with Vanessa and the rest of the Bryant family during this difficult time. RIP Kobe

I would even argue that the owner or higher ups too favored Anthony over Lin because they were paying him a lot of money. That money wasn't to be 2nd man it was star money. Anthony was the star of course he favored himself. This did exactly what it was supposed to. Put Lin on the map for bigger contracts. I'm happy he Lin at least got paid from that and is now a champ. 😇🙌🤙

I respectfully disagree. When Melo came back he was actually more generous with the ball and would often defer to Lin, who would then pass it back to Melo. They really didn’t have time to work out any sort of court chemistry and it showed, and the other teammates also got confused on what their roles were or who was leading the offense when both Melo and Lin were on the court.

well i mean if u look at it the focus of defense is not on the jumpshots in the linsanity games. jeremy is a good shooter who benefitted from the low level of defense on the perimeter(sometimes saggy defense on even fifteen feet jumpers) during linsanity, but since now the defense focused more on the perimeter i think thats why he is not doing as good with scoring. but he is still scoring with his rocker step and everything and i think he is still one of the better pgs in the NBA

A1 Blanco I believe Kobe took it very personal (somehow akin to the recent Russ on Rubio comment). He's a legend and he should just take it in his stride to compliment a relatively unknown kid on a nice streak. Instead, he just wanna show that he's the man out there. The whole NBA community, players, pundits and fans alike were clamoring about Linsanity and he blatantly denied knowing anything about it. That's salty.
