One battle that will win, Yamaha parts are all over, Husky parts you’re waiting two weeks to three weeks for a part, and paying twice the amount.

Awesome ride, great vid!!! Love the 125's, grew up racing them. Really shows who the better rider is.
Enjoyed that. What an awesome track. The Yamaha seemed to get going a bit faster out the corners, but maybe that was just the rider.
These lads know how to ride a 125 ! I think that this video shows how good that the Yamaha still is for how long that this design has been around. I love the Husky too.. I'm a bit too heavy now to race a 125 again. The KTM150SX might be a bit better for my 100kg weight. These small bores are too much fun holding them pinned just about everywhere on a MX track

Really want to get the yz 125 or ktm for my boy but the yamaha reliability and parts availability might be the determining factor.

There's no doubting that the Austrian's have the speed advantage, but i personally just love the handling and the rideability of the Yam's! Thanks for watching!

a brand new YZ 125 with some very basic mods will walk away from other bikes no problem...yes you do have to build them ...but given the upfront cost of the TC I still think you’d be in the YZ less ...even with serious engine work ...I’ve built plenty of YZs over the years and they all needed to be Uncorked, Yamaha traditionally toned down their shit to the general public (most likely for liability) ...plus they’ll run forever if you take care of them at a fraction of the maintenance cost as the euro bikes 🤷🏼♂️...it’s really all about how much cash you wanna spend
You really gotta hand it to Yamaha...their two strokes are very dated compared to the competition and yet still a super competitive engine 👍 I really hope they develop it more in the coming years with 2 strokes making a comeback ...honestly I think 2 strokes could bring the sport back from the dead...there’s better oils, smarter tech and better materials available now. Bikes could be, light, fun and affordable again...seeing 2 strokes racing is always more entertaining anyways
Great video my friend 👍👍sweet music to my ears!

Another top production, would love to see you test 125s from80s ,90s, 2000s,2010,etc same rider one track to show laptimes and how the bikes have evolved, any way keep up your excellent work, twist that throttle and best wishes to you.

That's a great idea ! The MX bikes changed way more in my racing era than they do now. I went from air cooled, drum brakes, metal tanks and dual shocks to sort of similar to todays bikes all in 8years. That YZ125 has been pretty much the same bike for 16 years now !!!
Can’t wait to ride again!! roll on the weekend track are open 🚀💨🚀💨🤪

People who own a 2stroke will only own 2strokes! 👌wicked riding there!
Looking at this same year Husqvarna to buy now. Which bike do you like better?
Désolé je ne parle pas l'anglais 😒 mais...super vidéo, super pilotage, superbe attaque ! J'avais l'impression d'être au guidon. MERCI 😉👍
Who remembers when YZ's were white and red lol when I was a younger boy, I remember having a CR-80 and seeing all the older boys riding the 125, and thinking how much bigger the bikes were and then when I tried my first 250CC lol The 125 seemed like a turtle in comparison. Too bad the youth nowadays will never know the freedom of hopping on your dirt bike, riding from home to the trials, and make your way to the sandpits to race buddies all day long! In the Sandpits, it didn't matter how old you were, or where you were from, or which language you spoke! everyone just got along and let's not forget all the girl groupies that would lay in the sand in their Bikinis just soaking up the sun.

I still do that but I’m lucky if I get one buddy to come along and it’s not anything like you explained it’s just me going to the trails then being told by some lady to go home or she will call the cops because I’m scaring her cows

I like both bikes i have a yz125 and my brother has a tc125 i would preffer the yz over the tc because of the suspension and parts availability but when the tc125 had better then stock suspension i think it would smoke the yz It feels to me that the tc125 is way more aggressive more power
Love it

That Yamaha is on the pipe ! Great video! Cheers!
Great riding, but not impressed with their on-track manners... Yelling and almost running over slower/younger riders during free practice aren’t nice, we’ve all been newbies at some point. Keep the great videos coming, Max! 👍

Both bikes are great machines.. but I’ve been riding Yamahas my whole life... My opinion is a bit bias but the blue bikes are reliable and does the job for me especially in the world of 2smokers. Tc got the pass because that lapper.
I prefer yamaha so much... its just a fun bike with, hands down, the best handling ever. I ride Yz 250 '19 and its like a hurricane, a blast from the past and yes you can feel its a 2005 frame, but in my opinion a 2005 frame wasnt bad at all!

They modernized the frame and chassis the one thing that hasn't changed is the engine but as of 2019 that's pretty recent. Wanting to get a yz250 2 stroke as well 2019 - 2022 especially with those blue rims!!
I loveeee 2 stroke

Can u explain why? I am about to buy one. Downgrading from a 799cc street bike to a tc125 lol
The yz is just a beast
The tc 125 is a bit faster but the yz 125 rider was a better rider
Still think 2 stroke riders are faster than 4 stroke riders. Seems the 4 stroke guys spend a lot of time letting off the gas and rolling the corners.🙄
Japanese is just better IMO
