That is insane, I have a Fully worked Big Bore Rmz 270 with stage 2 hot cam, vortex ignition stainless steel valves. And it was 49hp on the dyno only 6hp more than that 150cc and probably 10- 15 kg heavier thats why people love 2-strokes.

I remember watching Jeff ride at Columbia Mo. On a 80 cc riping. His dad pushed him on his 125cc. Great guy and fast rider. Great old days.

Reminds me of when I first saw Jeff on a Yamaha 125 at Budds Creek back in the 90's. Went there to see Ricky Johnson, but Jeff was stealing the show by being the only guy on a 125 to consistently clear the uphill triple. Good to know Jeff is still ripping it on a two stroke.

That's sweet!!! I'm riding a 2021 KTM 150 SX. Interesting to see twisted kept the Mikuni. I just installed JD jetting Jett block kit and leaned it out with V- Force 4R reeds and it's so much fun to ride!

@Rider_9 Mikuni quality isn't what it used to be. I found my slide isn't polished very good and shows tooling marks in it. I polished it and notched the intake side of it for little more air flow off idle.

Hey Ping whats the compression ratio and squish on that? That's where power is made, after increased flow with porting and pipe. As well, is port timing stock?

Get a 500 kit for the 250 two banger

Everyone that rides my RM 125 says it's the fastest 125 they have ever ridden, LOL. My bike is basically stock, but i mix my fuel at 40:1 and most people i know run their 2-stroke at 32:1 and that is the only difference. I don't no why so many people mix it at 32:1 it's not a lawnmower!

Because that's probably what the bike is jetted for 32:1 lol mixture ratio all comes down to what the bikes jetted for. And pretty much every 125 with factory jetting specs are 32:1. Ktm and husky 125s are 40 and 250 2 strokes are 50:1 for ktm husky.

@@XecuTionNxx ok so change the fuel mixture to 40:1 and tell me if you get a difference? Also no smoke (2-strokes only smoke on startup) if it's blowing smoke you are running too rich. I am not a know it all but i have owned ridden and maintained 2=stroke bikes for 35 years so i know that

I'm not opposed to 4-strokes, actually. but put them in the same displacement class or separate them completely. watching a 250cc 2-strokes trying to make a main against 450cc 4-strokes is galling. yeah yeah. I'm a 90s boi. 😄
