Guys, thank you so much for this much comments. I am very busy these days (mainly riding Ténéré) so I was not still not able to answer. I will try to do it within few days. Few of your questions are answered in my new video, so make sure you'll watch this as well: kzread.info/dash/bejne/aaWp27SYYa-zqco.html
Nice to see a European guy doing this! I find some Americans are very harsh with their critique about small stuff... Subscribed and looking forward to seeing more videos of this interesting motorcycle!
I love how when you first start the bike and rev it a bit the subtitles say "music".

three tuning forks after all....made by a piano company after all!
Good to see the unboxing, you never get a second chance to make a first impression. I like the size of this bike and will be interested to see how successful they are!
Thanks for sharing this video! I look forward to your future videos and ride reports!
I’m in Korea and got interested in this bike. Really enjoyed the video and thanks for your review. Nice work.
Congratulations. Can’t wait to see your reviews about it. And agreed with you, the color scheme is really nice !
Congratulations with your bike and thanks for a nice introduction; cool to see it being unpacked. I am eagerly awaiting mine, I chose blue, but must say it looks good in white and red. Will follow your future posts and tests of the bike.
really nice review, the first I watched about tenere 700....it really is a dream, enjoy it even for those like me who can't afford it right now
Following. I am getting a CRF250L as my first bike since the last time riding any 'motorcycle' was 20 years ago, I feel it is best to start small and take it easy. I really like the Tenere 700 and hope to have one in a few years after skills have improved. Mostly like taking it easy on side roads and exploring old trails / towns. I have no intention on cruising down busy highways.
This video got me thinking if I choose the right color. Red and white looks great!!
Congratulations on the new bike! I hope you love it.
My first bike was a1983 xt600 Tenere , i can’t wait to get my hands on one to see if it lives up the legend.
Great 1st review. I will be excited to see your thoughts as your adventures on this bike will be great. I have a 2009 xt660z with 60k on the clock and still love it. I had a honda 1985 xr250 in 1995 as my 1st bike then honda dominator 644cc as second bike in 2008 now the yamaha 2009 xt660z since 2014.
Congrats for the new bike! Hope that you will enjoy it. I'm waiting for the havy off-road ride and review: suspension, weight, ergonomics, etc
Nice video man, looking forward for this series, congratulations on the bike from Argentina
I can't wait for these series you announced. 🍿
Congratulations. I am looking forward to every video on this bike. Sadly it was too tall for me, but I still love it, especially in the right colour - the one you chose! 👍👍👍
Good choice for you to preorder. Many people did not even see the bike and preordered,You saw it and sit on various events
I've ordered same bike in the same colour. Playing the waiting game now. In the mean time I'm looking forward to your updates. Subscribed 👍👍
Hello, mate! Great bike, thanks for the awesome video. One friendly advice - be careful to gear the bike correctly. 65 km/h in 6th gear is not good way to break in your brand new bike. Ride it normaly, keep the revs in the middle, do lots of moderate speed ups and speed downs, lots of breaking and gears changing. Avoid highways and constant speed riding. Good luck and ride safe! :)
Congratulations JF, nice bike and video !
Congratulations on the new bike, this is the colour I would choose as well so looking forward to hearing how you get on with it :-)
Congratulations! Looking forward to more of your thoughts on the bike once you've ridden a few more kilometres
Cool start and review! Look fwd to see more of your adventures with thos bike.
Great review! Looking forward to your touring vids in Albania
Nice bike. Saw one in the flesh for the first time yesterday. A lot taller than I expected. And I agree about the exhaust, looks cheap large and heavy. Other than that. It’s awesome
In your video the white color looks fantastic
A very handsome bike. If I was in the market for a mid-size adventure bike, it would be this. And in this colour.
Long time no see you... 🤷🏼♂️ Your reviews are the best! Keep going 🥇
Could you tell me how it handles on the highway ? At what speed is the engine comfortable to ride ? Thx
great looking bike . I ride a 2017 africa twin. Glad to see yamaha is getting into the mix with the T7. I am not a real big fan of the S10
Impressive production quality. Subbed!
the red and whit color looks incredible, i want one in red to ! , nice vid .
Have fun! You picked Great color:)
Lucky you!!...I have the previous Tenere and am very interested in the new T7, so will follow your review with interest!. Cheers, Steve
such a beautyfull bike! perfect for every kind of adventure. 🏍🌲🏔😊
Lovely Bike. Congrats! Hope the new Tenere does great in general.
I'm thinking of one of these but I'm not a off-road guy -great video by the way :)
Congrats on your new T7, love it!
My question is regarding the subframe, where the cargo would attach. And it is, how well or strong, that subframe is on the Tenere 700. Am enthusiastic about your new series!
The last proper Tenere was made in 1990. Back then you got a bike that was *very* close to the actual Dakar bikes. Lighter yet more comfortable than modern bikes.
Thx for viedo. Nice bike. Could u record how the headligts looks on night??
Good video. I'm looking forward to the coming vids. What I'm interested mostly is, how easy or annoying it is to do the usual maintenance works on it. Oil change, changing brake bads, valves settings, etc... Would be great if you could deliver those information... Thanks already :-)
nice Unboxing :-) Looks Great mate :-)
Nice video, thanks from Australia.
Congratulations! mate!
Congratulations. Bike looks great.
Congratulations on the new bike, i really like the color scheme too.. I am however somewhat surprised on your selection of this bike .. i always imagined that you would purchase either the KTM 790 Adventure or the Moto Guzzi V85 TT you seemed very keen on both of those and not even a hint to the tenere? what made you select this bike over the others ??
Nice unboxing video. I would like to know how does ot feels on the highway with this bike...comfort and wind protection etc...what would be the ideal speed cruise 120, 130 or more ..Thanks!
They look awesome
What's your opinion about lights at night? I'm in love with this bike. Thanks for the vid!!
Can't wait to see how it does light offroading
Great review! How securely mounted is the skid plate - does it look like it would take a bit of abuse or would the mountings allow it to hit the exhaust?
What are the service intervals and challenges for this bike? Please make a video on that
I love your new bike. I want one too.
Really nice video. I've been looking for someone that starts his/hers journey on this cool bike. I'm really torn between Tenere and couple other bikes I'm planning to buy for next season and I hope Your videos shed some light on this fine looking machine. Also its good to see that You are almost as tall as I am (196cm) so it is really good comparison to me because my main concern with bikes is the size. Also I would like to ask a question about the bike: If you would be so nice to tell me how much is the fuel range? I've come to understanding that the tank size is just 16 liters and that might be a issue because I'm not really keen on looking for petrol station every 160km. Thanks again for the nice video. Subscribed and looking forward for more good content. Cheers.
Im similar height as you. Will the bike need handlebar risers?
Congrats. I will watch your series of videos about that bike. Im interesting to know if its good on asphalt twisty roads as i ride 80-90% on the asphalt roads. I’m also interested to know if a pillion would be confortable for a 4-5 hours ride as i’m sometimes riding with my wife. I know that Yamaha is selling a confort passenger seat for that bike in option. I want to learn if that bike could be a good option to upgrade my 2017 CB500X. I think i would need the lower kit (lowering link) & low seat options from Yamaha as im a short rider. Cheers from Montreal.
Hey first of all.. nice channel! Subscribed. And i’llnstart off with a question. I’m in the market for this one or the standard africa twin 1100. Is the Tenere safe without all the electronics? Is it fun on the road? (Not underpowered compared to 100hp adv bikes?) Which one do you like most personally? Which one would you buy for lets say 60% road 40 off. Thx!
That bike really suits you. Looking forward to seeing your future videos on it. BTW as an Englishman I really enjoyed hearing you say the phrase “the exhaust is not my cup of tea”! Cheers.

Dougie Quick I never said they did.
Looks like a really nice well ba lanced and we'll planted bike. Sort of bike I'd annoy the hell out of my accountant to get my hands on.
Thinking about this bike as a replacement for transalp 700. Looking for your input to this choice
I'm really excited about the Ténéré 700. I would love to see it set up for adventure then compared to a Husky 701 or KTM 690 set up with a fairing, extra fuel, etc. I am thinking the Yamaha will be the leader in the value for performance, value for maintenance interval, value for total cost of ownership adventure touring leader. It will be interesting to see what the North American version is like.
one thing you will need for sure is to change the windscreen.save and happy riding mate
Looks like a proper bike just right, may it serve you well.
Awesome. Would love to get one but I think it's too tall for me (I'm only 5'8). Looking forward to more footage of your adventures on this bike.
Greetings from Japan. I'm looking forward to the future reviews. I'm seriously considering getting one to replace my MT07 this winter. I just wonder if I will ever take it off road...maybe it's a waste of a bike for city riding and occasional touring....
I like this bike so much, I am even considering selling my Tracer 900GT for this bike...I like enduro bikes more than sport touring. For me it would be good to see how it handles luggage and pillion for longer rides..
Very good, thanks!
Hey JF, thats a nice bike. I hope you will make a travel footages too.
Is there a payload/weight capacity in the manual that you can share?
I love my MT-07 but, man, that bike is calling me... Very nice to find a review from a Czech rider. I spent 5 years in Prague and love the country, culture and, yep, beer.
Wow! they're not available here in germany till 30.09.! Did you sell the xsr?
Can the footpegs mountings be turned upside down for lower pegs? Looks possible.
That's one great bike, but really big though. Waiting for the full review. It would be great if you could show us a 360 degree walkaround of the bike.
Nice bike bro! Congratulations. i have a question, How wide is the rim?
Really look's like a great feeling bike! Hope to get to see one soon around here... (BR)
I'm 6'6" tal! Do you think .. It will work well for me!? Or it will need several things to change? Thank's...
What do you think of the bike for long travels and highway speeds? Thanks in advance.
How is the breaking in process feeling so far?
Have you tried the Africa twin 1000 ? Just I am 189cm and 105kgs and looking for good all rounder but want others opinions..
How have you found the bike for long distance higher speed travel riding all day? Any necessary modifications for it?
I ride a Super Tenere and a WR250R. For in-between I have 1998 Suzuki DR650. I'm subscribed to learn if the 700 Tenere is better than the DR650 in any way or in every way.
Nice ride!!
Very nice looking bike sir!! I'm hoping you can get some protection for the cases.
Do you think the rally pack is worth the price? Are you planing on having it?
How is the windshield / wind buffering at the helmet?
what do you think of wind protection?
Looks like a nice bike but the gas tank isn't very big for adventure riding, I guess you'll find out if it's a problem, good luck with your new ride, I recently bought a KTM 790R and I absolutely love the bike and I haven't had any of the reported internet problems yet, take care.
I will follow this like a hawk! Very interested in this as a next bike. Could be the ultimate machine for long distance on the TET. It is a bit of a porker (weighty) though for what it is supposed to be. Hopefully the weight is low down.
are the tyres tubeless or theres inner tube?
JF Motorcycles, as I am also looking at this bike and am also quite tall - 191cm and 100+ kg, I'd really appreciate your thoughts on the riding comfort for someone your size and also what are your thoughts on the engine power? Is the engine powerful enough to carry you and travel gear (I'm thinking soft panniers + duffle bag for adventure touring)? Also, what about 2-up riding - does it have enough pulling power on highway speeds? Thanks and hope you enjoy the bike!
Can you please let me know if it has tubeless tires?
My experiences with moyorcycles are mostly based on sportsbike, and looking forward to buy this in future. Do you think it'll be a friendly machine to newbie off-road riders?
It's beautiful! Enjoy....!!!!
Yamaha has come a long way since my 1980 XT 500. Looks great. How much HP does the engine put out? I currently ride a Husky 701, which is awesome.
i will follow your adventure man
How is the seat for long distance trips?
Are the tools hidden in rider or passanger seat?
