I currently have an MG206c. Nice to see the "pad" added for each channel, but kind of surprised that they lost the per channel "insert" option. Also, they don't seem to have the 2 "return" paths anymore. Finally, it looks like you can only have a maximum of 2 "pre" aux sends (#1 and switchable #2), where the older model allowed for a switchable #3 as well. #4 was always post. I'm sure the mic-pre's are better and the universal power supply is nice, but it seems to have lost some flexibility in the routing.

Good lineup of mixers, Yamaha, but you could have given those XU multitrack recording capabilities, not a stereo channel option only.

Those are actually pretty cool looking mixers, digging that black and blue and knob colors. But man, those faders looks way too cheap.

2 channels. Meant for stereo mix, e.g. live mix. But you could route any 2 of your channels to record only those if I understand correctly. Did you look at Soundcraft Signature MTK? Out now.

Hey, Karen! Yes, the MG06 (smallest version they make) does have phantom power for both channels 1 and 2. You will certainly be able to use those condenser mics with that mixer. Why can't Yamaha give full excess to all channels .... why no mids and gain knob for certain channels ???? This sucks
