first thing off the camera shake can you add you phone or camera to a tripod second problem i like to point out the aux 1-4 send is used for musican monitoning with fold back speakers or powered monitor speakers

Can we record through sub while performing?

so the aux 4 the effect comes out the front when u turn it up . it goes threw the aux 4 monitor but how can u stop the effect going to front house???? i understand 4 is effect level also, but how can u make it just the volume for aux 4 and not have effect come threw front house when turn it up?

Is there need for me to buy an equalizer and compressor seeing thay the mixer already has them already?

Thanks John for the question. Looks like only Aux Send 1,2&3 can be used as monitor (stage), 4 is for effects processor. This helps hub.yamaha.com/aux-sends-and-returns/ FYI, Aux Send jacks signal for my unit is not clean, i can hear humming. I used the Group Outs instead for stage monitors.

Sorry, am no expert in pro audio. But I believe any of the outputs for speakers can be used. Note that the subwoofer has to be powered or active.

most active PA systems should have a thru output. you should be able to run stereo XLR outs from the main outputs on the board into your main PA, and thru outs into the inputs of subwoofers

Nope. The MG series are not multitrack recorders. They only record two tracks (stereo) at a time. However, they can record the mixed 16 inputs so that the final mix is stereo.

Wait you're saying if I put on phantom power on while I connect my PC it will fry my mixer ? Then how in the hell am I supposed to use my mic ????

Phantom power is only applied to XLR input jacks., not to those with RCAs. If you don’t want to use the USB interface, use the Channels with RCA inputs. 48V is too much for the PC to deal with (mixer will be ok actually, since it’s the source). Hope this helps

Fake Yamaha. I got one here in Canada the original should come with a free CUBASIS LE.

MG16XU discouraged me. I want to go back to Soundcraft and Power Dynamics, which give sparkling sound. MG16XU EQ blocks high frequencies, live and play back; DSP are not as sweet as Power Dynamics.

@@technogeekengineer Nireview ko ulit yung images nya. Counterfeit talaga lalo na dun sa upper left side na may naka print na MG16XU malayo po sa original pati yung spacing and indentions may mali. Naka order na ako pero di ko tatanggapin.

i have the same mixer. that box should have cubase software printed out the box
