Hello, I know this is a long time after you posted the video, but could you give me a link or company where you got your new axle?

Hi Cole, I must say these are very difficult to find. I searched the internet to no avail, as I am sure you have. Anyway, I finally went to that famous auction place that I will not mention because it is a four letter word. I am sure you know the one I am talking about. After searching what seemed like every day because it was, I put in a request for an axle or part similar to one that I knew would not fit because of the model number. I kid you not it was too months before one finally showed up and the auction included two, so I did a buy it now. It seems that there are more of these axles on the east coast than on the west coast. If you can contact a wrecking yard or the like on the web, they may know of a parts car. In addition, there is a list out there called Craigs and that may generate some help as well. To tell you the truth I had almost given up until I received that email from the Bay with an E one morning. You might just have to do what I did and wait. Here's hoping that you find your part. It has been a long time, hoping you still remember... Do you know if the axles were different sizes... the passenger vs. the driver side?

Hi Mark, I am trying to remember but, I think when I bought 2 of them on Ebay that the seller said they would fit either side so I am thinking that they are the same. At the time, I wasn't sure which side was the drive side, and I vaguely remember that I was going to pull one side first, and then the other if the first side looked ok (which it wasn't ok) . So I am thinking they are identical. Hope this helps.

Mark, I am not near the golf cart, but tomorrow morning I will be. I believe I have the original box and the un-used axle, plus I saved my broken one. I found the original Ebay order in an email and it said 2 axles for my model cart. So, tomorrow I will do some more checking and get back to you.

Mark,, from the outside of the axle housing hub to differential is appx. 12" ( maybe 11 7/8")...leaning over each side with a metal tape measure. Anyway, both sides measure the same. Also, when I stand my other replacement axle on its end resting on its threaded lugs, from the floor to the end or the spline axle shaft measures 18 1/2 inches. My broken one was the same measurement. So, I would say that both axles are the same. My two replacement axles from eBay came with the housing, brake drums and shoes. They took both sides loose from the frame and differential and I got all the bolts and lug nuts too. I kept looking on eBay and as I remember I did a "more like this " and would check my emails. I think it took around 3 months for me to find an axle and I was only expecting one but received a lot more. This is the eBay seller I got them from.
