I had already inspected my bearings, and think the noise I was hearing was from the axle shaft nut being loose, making the dry splines grind a little. Some grease and retightening Seems to have resolved it. The real reason I'm writing is your 'opps' of having the axle nut on backwards. When I saw this, I went back and sure enough I had done it too. Lol. Thanks for the vid.

If your inner fenders rub your rear tires drill a 1/4" hole thru the fender and into the rear bumper. Push a plastic push rivet thru the inner fender into the bumper to hold the inner fender tight to the rear bumper. No more tire rubbing.

What is the spline count on your axel? I have a Yamaha Electric G8 golf cart. My rear rear end is shot. Is there away that we change it out for something better,

I have a 2014 Yamaha cart and cannot figure out how to check the rear axle fluid. Have you ever done this? The newer carts have a rubber plug in the top of the rear axle. The 2014's do not and no top or side fill bolt/plug that I can find. Great video on the bearings!!

What kind of noise did the cart make when the bearing went bad? Mine is making a grinding noise but it sounds like it's coming from the motor so I'm thinking it's the input shaft but could be wrong.

I have a 2012 yahama g29 and the rear right squeaks and it’s getting worse. Would the bearings need replaced?

Could be the bearing or the shock. I replaced both. My shocks were squeeking

Have you ever replace those friction brake discs?
