I love my Yada dash cam but the one I have the yada BT532983 1080p roadcam 1st gen I assume the battery charge dose not last anymore and shuts off. Any help with that?

Hello, the dash cam is designed to operate while connected to a power source, rather than on battery power. The internal battery is intended for brief activations, such as when your car is parked and turned off, rather than for extended use.
My dashcam wont come off of locked mode. Its just stuck at 13 seconds and i cant get it to record anymore

Hi Jennifer, we suggest unplugging the dash cam, let its built-in battery run out (takes ~10 mins or so), and plug it back in again, it should work properly then. It may have been the temperature that got it to malfunction a bit.
Hi, I bought a yada 1080p dash cam.. I'm told it connects to the phone but I can't figure that out at yall. Can yall make a video on how to connect my phone to the dash cam? Thanks in advance!

Sure! But for now, please see below for the step-by-step: - Make sure you have the YADA Drive app downloaded and installed. - Power on the dashcam. - Go to the wifi settings on your phone, connect to the YADA dashcam. - Go into the YADA drive app and select the camera, it should connect then.
can you edit the captured footage? For example, I drop video from my gopro into my editing software (imovie) and make videos about my road trips. Can this be done with road cam?

Hello. Yes you can, the video clips are just short video MOV files.
I bought the camera and it is very good at video, but when I get home from work at night the next day I have to reset the day and time because it is not saved, I don't understand why that happens

Hello, the built-in battery may have deteriorated over time, this tends to happen to older dash cams. Can you contact our customer service for additional assistance?
The camera must always be connected for it to turn on ??? or can it work without the cable?

When I try to find the dash cam Wi-Fi it doesn’t show up

Hello, for this model, you'll need to press and hold the second button down (there's a wifi icon next to it) to turn the wifi on. You'll be able to find it then.
I plug my dash cam in and it’s just a black screen I don’t know what to do

Did you use the 12V plug in your car? If you did, it should turn on/off with your car.
