  Depends on which model of dash cam you have, some runs on Lithium battery and you can access parking mode right away, some requires you to utilize a constant power kit that's sold separately. And yes, if you have the parking mode on, the dash cam should turn on to record a 20 second video when someone tries to break in.

  This has to be the most confusing dash camera ever used in my life so tell me how to put on Park mode right in motion detection with the loop for 5 minutes For night time use Naomi footage I had on my phone app was the daytime footage Like this device is not make me feel secure at all Not to mention you can't turn off the loop Not to mention the app is confusing the settings are stupid and there's no actual footage of people actually using this camera and telling you how to use it

  Hi, the loop recording feature is essential for all dash cams, not just ours. This feature ensures that your dash cam memory doesn't run out by continuously overwriting old footage with new recordings. This way, your dash cam can always record when it needs to, capturing critical moments without interruption. When collisions are detected, the event videos will be "locked" and moved to a different folder so they don't get overwritten.   @@LetsYada another thing that's confusing is for Park mode there's no motion detection on that so just continues to record even if there's nothing in front of the camera Which means if you have an accident you have literally sit on the app like I did for 2 hours just to find the footage Am I supposed to have parking mode on with motion detection? Is clearly the instructions in the manual Don't say much In the video you just sent me doesn't even say much

  Hi, you can delete within the album, either on the camera or through the app. Or the easiest way that you can for sure delete the footage is to take the SD card and do it from your computer.

  Hi, thanks for you interest. There are two types of alerts that you may choose from on this device: 1) Voice alert (the alert will be read out loud basically) and 2) Beep alert. Either one will come with on-screen visual notifications as well.

  I can confirm that a portable battery pack will have the device up and running because my car doesn't allow for a hardwire fuse. Working on making it run 24/7 like an actual parking mode would, trying to find the right battery pack with USB charging.

  Hello, this device can handle up to 180°F. If it gets too hot it'll simply shut down until it cools down. We're based in California and it's been fine the past year (including summer).

  What is keeping you from installing it? Plus it into the cigarette lighter. Then connect the big camera. Use the clear sheet if you want to protect tinted window. Then plug the small metal pin into the top of the camera and stick the back small camera on the back, cord going to the right. Pretty simple. As far as hiding the wires, who cares?

  Hello! To connect to the app, please go into your phone's WiFi settings menu, connect to the YADA dash cam, and then open the app. It should connect successfully. Please note that the YADA Drive app is an additional option for viewing and downloading videos. There is no need to connect to the app for the dash cam to function properly. Thank you!

  @@LetsYada I guess I learned that you have to have it all Calibrated first after “driving” and fully fictional. I was experiencing the same “emergency event” recording every time it was supposed to stay on and record parking. Then it would shut off instead of recording the parking event.   Works great for a couple seconds but when car is moving and you try to connect when you have no visibility on your mirror and you want to use this as a extra help is impossible to reconnect. Van is 30FT. Instructions said connectivity up to 32ft.

  @@Chello274 Have you tried a different power source or a different cable? Also, when it's too hot or too cold it may shut down for safety reasons. Bring it in for half an hour or so it'll start working again.

  Hi Jennifer, we suggest unplugging the dash cam, let its built-in battery run out (takes ~10 mins or so), and plug it back in again, it should work properly then. It may have been the temperature that got it to malfunction a bit.

  Just picked up one of these from Walmart. Thank goodness it was in stock and I didn't have to wait for this trash. The quality most certainly is NOT 1080p as advertised. The labeling is misleading to say it's 1080p but in fact the specs on their website say it's 1280x720 which is in fact, 720p quality. After having it on my phone, it shares as a barely above 360p video. Completely unusable and if the actual video quality was 480p, I'd be surprised and probably more okay with this. Stay away from this camera and company.

  Its alright but thats about it. Camera input is a bit laggy so it can be a challenge to get use to. Like i said, its alright if you dont want to invest into a wired camera to your touchscreen stereo and spend all the money to do that. However, this thing needs to charge and you mount it with screws. The second mount option is to stick the plate on the back of ur license plate... just do the first one its better.

  This particular camera is only compatible with SD cards of up to 32GB. You may try larger ones but they're not guaranteed to work. Try lowering the G-sensor sensitivity to mid; g-sensor trigger recorded videos won't get auto deleted hence may eat up memory space. Once you've done that, delete the videos in the events folder, that should fix the issue.

  For those of you who are wondering about the ‘aim’ of this product, it’s virtually a (sorta kinda) easy way out, of DIY rigging a backup camera, without the general mess and headaches associated with routing up a wired backup camera to your car (with or without an existing stereo car play system). For the $100, and at my local Walmart…. I’d rather pay and DIY that, rather than install a custom double DIN (default) touch screen stereo car play system. The double din system alone, for a decent one, is well into $2-300+, not to mention the costs and effort(s) for wiring it up and disassembling/reassembling your auto interior… And if you were to get a custom double din car play stereo system installed on your car, that’s assuming it doesn’t requiring extra wiring and soldering (mostly cheaper kits), and that it doesn’t require extra or custom car interior pieces (depends on the car). Oh, and labor! That’s all gotta be AT LEAST another $2-400, depending… I have a 2010-2011 Chevy Camaro coupe, and those only either come with really expensive aftermarket options, some which are partially assembled and some which need modifications to the existing car interior trim pieces. We’re talking about well over $3-500+, and STILL needing to do a fair amount of DIY work that goes beyond just ‘plug-n-play’. I think this is a fair compromise in my case, but that’s just my personal 2 cents on it.

  Not an optimal camera for backing up. Takes way too many steps to connect and waaaaaaaay too long. Eventually, after a bunch of clicks, the camera finally turns on. Problem is, I’ve already backed up and returned from the store! And cooked dinner!! LMAO Seriously, for a backup camera to take so many steps to open, is counter intuitive. The camera should come on immediately after opening the app. One click! Thankfully I found this cheap online so I’ll eat the money. Maybe I’ll use it for something else. I don’t recommend!

  Shouldn't need manual charging at all unless you use it 20+ times per day for 2 weeks straight. Otherwise it should always be close to fully charged.
