Just got an XT250. I'll be doing this soon.

Some pretty stiff tires on pre war cars the trick a lot guys use is baby powder on the tube and tire for lube.

Anyone have a recommendation for where to buy tire levers? Looking for the 17, 19 and 22mm axle wrench / tire lever combination for my XT250.

I got the aluminum 22 Tusk brand from RockyMountain ATV/MC. The steel 17 and 19 were hard to find… DRC brand and I can’t remember where I picked them up.

Do you have to balance the tire once it is installed?

What’s the size for the front tire tube and rim?

XT has a ‘21 inch front … 2.75 tire, but I run a 3.0 front tire.

A 150/70 fits in?

Oh, not sure about that ... I've been running 120/90 and there is not a lot of room to spare.

I've seen people use spray Armor all

Mark Spencer, you want something that dries and is no longer slick, windex is popular. But, yeah, a good tire paste is what I’m gonna to get next but I won’t be running out of bullsnot any time soon.

@@XT250allday Interesting, there's a lot of confusing info out there on this. Thumper talk conversations vary between Armor all and Slime, some even use both, Armor all on the high pressure tube, and Slime on the tire bead as lube. thumpertalk.com/forums/topic/1275306-tubliss-armor-all/
