Yes that is true. There is however not a best setting. Acceleration is something you can get used to very quickly. While its not very good, it only takes a few days to get used to it. This is why everyone uses a different setting and there is no "best setting". Personally i prefer as little acceleration as possible (see my ingame settings in this video for that).

Hey, im not sure if you can disclose this but im on XIM4, is there a way around this? Are they detecting non analog movements from the Left Stick or Right Stick analog? Really dont want to buy a new xim, i know its almost a decade old but its not something to just throw away as ive found alot of use out of it and find no need to upgrade.

Hey, you can probably use one of the many ways that bug the trap. For more infos on that you may have to search on Google though, the XIM Company doesnt want to encourage or promote these things.

My Xim matrix arrived 3 hours ago. After 15 minutes setup and 10 more minutes to calibrate my settings I am playing since then. This product is absolutely GOATED. I thought because of the Remoteplay stuff there would be a delay or anything like that but holy shit I was wrong. After over 3 Years of experience with the Xim Apex all I can say is that Matrix outclasses the Apex absolutely. Mousemovements better ✅ Aim assist better ✅ Smart action „scripts“ ✅ Ps5 compatibility on 120 fps ✅ There is 0 reason to buy any other product. I hope in the near future we maybe get a Smart action „library“ in the xim forum for different games/weapons. But even without using smart actions now - the feeling is just wow.

Those arent bots but real humans, the XIM Store uses like 10 different anti bot parameters plus any order is checked manually as well. You cannot prevent humans to buy a Matrix and sell it on eBay though.

So a couple questions instead of using a mouse and keyboard, can I put the anti-recoil on my controller ? also, I would have to change values per gun I use and sight , correct? if I am able to use values on my controller, is it hard to switch to different values?.

Yes absolutely, XIM is also a controller adapter and all of its features work with a controller too including the anti recoil. And yes if two weapons use different recoil pattern then you need different smart actions. I have uploaded videos on how to solve such situations! ;)

What do you recommend for overwatch? You recommend sab 3.0? And what are your Wooten keyboard settings?

Yes thats possible! I did that a while ago and it worked very well!

I was able to download the manager on an android and the sensitivity feels great I’m just not sure what sab values to use. Right now I’m using 50 for all but I don’t know how low I can go with them until activating mouse trap. I’m also using privacy settings and I don’t know if that prevents MT from detecting xim. Also would setting sab on the triggers to 0 make xim more detectable or does it only apply to aiming and movement? I’m on xim apex.

@@manavsharma5122 The Wooting is the only analog keyboard that works with XIM. Wooting is from Europe, only buy from their website. If you buy anywhere else then it costs twice as much. You will have to wait a few weeks because they are always sold out, but you can preorder from the Wooting website!

ordering the matrix in a few days, got a question though, i see you say with the newest firmware i wont get mousetrapped, is there anything i should do in game? i’ve heard people saying that using my controller & spinning during prep phase is meant to help. i just dont see how that works. thanks alot

Hey, the XIM will already come with the right firmware, so technically you must not update it. However you will still have to follow the SAB Guide from the XIM Forum (or the summary of it that is shown in this video).

Either that, or you use config hotkeys to switch via button press. You could also use different groups within one config. For that see my Matrix Group Tutorial video.

could make videos of good settings for BF2042, just like what was done for Overwatch 2. BF is a franchise that has a lot of fans.

XIM Apex is quite hardware limited and cannot run the more advanced SAB 3.0 algorithm. So i cannot say how much of this also applies to XIM Apex, sorry.

Place your leaning actions onto the mouse, is it faster and more snappy then? That way you can check if its the keyboard.

Odin bro I’ve save my Logitech Gpro superlight to 12000 dpi in onboard memory but when I change Xim config to 12000 dpi it feels the same as 3200 dpi like I was playing before it only feels fast when I turn the dpi in the config down. Is this a glitch? Also just want to clarify I got top of range mouse and a v good mousepad the hyper x pulsefire would 12000 dpi therefore be my optimal dpi for mouse accuracy?

That is intended. XIM Matrix uses universal sensitivity, so a XIM sensitivity of 50 will always have the same speed regardless of using 3200 DPI or 12000 DPI assuming you tell your XIM the correct sensitivity. This makes it easier to share sensitivities, as the DPI value is now no longer needed!

does anyone know how to set up multiple button layouts for one profile? i remember in xim apex, i would have an activation key for multiple configs that i would set up for 9999 sensitivity when i needed it, but i have no idea how to set it up via smart actions/custom groupings...

You have two options. Either use you a config switcher that goes into a different config, or you stay within one config and you use the group feature to switch into a new group with a higher sensitivity.

@@andrewsmith9241 All right that one. With Matrix you can create the curve in the same fashion, but instead of having a value box at the bottom like with Apex, you have it now in the top right. It will say X= and Y=. You can use these values to edit the curve at the exact same point, and then lower it by the respective Y value. X=1.000 refers to Apex X=100, so X=0.90 would be Apex X=90. Let me know if that works for you, alternatively i can look into it later tonight when im back home! :)

@@andrewsmith9241 Im using that keyboard for a few months now and i must say its the best one i have had so far. The analog moving is amazing! In general its an extremly good keyboard too, great quality and software features! And you can use Move SAB 0 with it then!

Can you make it so when you switch to your secondary weapon the smart action recoil control goes away or is different?

As for the navigation controller, when I set it up as shown in this video, the stick movement and L2 trigger on the navigation controller does not respond at all. the L2 trigger is trying to be used as an aim down sight. Where do I need to re-set this?

@@user-kx7ch5ht3g If in your ADS config you have the box ticked for "Shared aim settings" then you must only adjist it in your HIP config and not do it a second time in your ADS config.

Going analog on movement will always be superior to using a digital keyboard. You must not hold the controller in one hand, you could also use a Sony Nav or an Azeron. Even a Nintendo JoyCon is XIM compatible! :)

On PS5 no authentication controller is required. You can still use a controller though if you want to! And yes use Ethernet if possible! :)

You click the plus button to add a new binding, then select that mouse key, and then you choose which controller action you want to bind to it (see the button binding part of the video).

I have a Wooting 60E but it isn’t working with the analog keys. Do I have to do anything other than the steps in this video for the analog keys to work? Such as being able to press the key slightly to walk etc? Or is it a setting on the Wooting? I just got the Wooting today.

I did the steps from the form. Even after mine still doesn’t seem to work. It doesn’t show any keybinds when I go to the matrix manager. Just controller. Is there an easy fix to this? The form just shows the settings for the Wooting and then which gamepad option to choose.

@@papabear123bates8 You must also load your profile via the wooting hotkey combination. Wooting will launch in a digital profile so whenver you launch your XIM you must switch the mode.

You could use a controller in one hand and the mouse in the other for example. Or switch on the fly. This config type allows you to use more than just a mouse and keyboard.

You must only adjust the magnitudes. Xbox uses a slightly different sensitivity so it should be enough to increase or reduce the magnitudes by a multiplier of X%.

In game feels very slow i tried changing sens but cant do 180• flicks is this normal i got config off ex #1 player but in game it feels very slow the lower my SAB the more responsive it feels but then when i have it low it sometimes does random things in game like keeps looking to one direction? Hey, im not sure what you mean with it keeps looking into one direction, but the better players usually use very slow sensitivities as you will be more accurate with those. They use large mousepads and aim with their whole arm.

Hey does anyone know how low you can go on the sap settings without mousetrap detecting you. I feel like wit the required settings its not even worth to play mnk since you dont seem to have control over it

This will be different for each person as each person moves and holds the mouse differently, and plays and aims in the game in a different way.

My W keybind is messed up. If I'm ads'd and I hit W it will lean. It also doesn't walk at full speed when I hit my W key. And how do I bind a sprint button? For example id like to be able to click left shift and W to sprint

What keyboard are you using? it sounds like you should check your key bindings in the XIM Manager. You either save several overlapping bindings, or one of your keybinds features several controller actions.

How do I setup multiple anti recoil like for different weapons I set up the f2 but do I need to make new configurations for every gun?

With my matrix I have a Razer v2 pro wireless connected but I have it extended away from the xim to get rid of interference but I can look around and move but I can’t ads or shoot what do I do

Hey Odin any idea why I have to bump by ads and hip up to 500/ 200 on matrix? On mw2. Mouse set to 12000 dpi, 1000hz mouse and matrix. The matrix software dpi is also set to 12k to match the mouse😢. Plays OK but i think its not correct. I'm on latest beta software also and out of ideas.

Yeah mouse is definitely 12000, tested two mice both the same. G502 and g305. Also refreshed the firmware. It's very odd. On apex my sensitivity was like 80 hip 20 ads now I'm using hundreds on matrix just to turn semi quickly.

With Matrix your DPI doesnt affect the sensitivity anymore for as long as you use the correct DPI value in your config. By using a value that is much lower than your actual DPI value you virtually boost your DPI value, thats why it gets faster.

I’m thinking of buying a xim matrix since I use xim apex and don’t want to stop playing mnk on Xbox so thinking about the swap can o still use my same settings that I have on xim apex since I’m 3200 dpi on my mouse like my x/y and all my other settings so it still feels the same but of course it will feel different one more thing how much does the xim matrix

You would need to manually re-create your config settings but yes, if you tweak your Matrix settings accordingly then you can make it feel the same as your current settings. Matrix costs 125$ and will be sold again in 2-3 weeks probably.

Yes you can keep MoveSAB at 0 if your Wooting is in analog mode.

I am currently trying to tweak the iana recoil pattern and I found the vertical magnitudes of 1.05, 0.72, .65 but it seems as I am trying to tweak the horizontal magnitudes it just isn't working out as I can't figure out whether to go up or down. Could you help me figure out why? Here is my Updated Sensitivity: FOV: 84 Vertical: 100 Horizontal: 100 DEADZONES: LEFT: 10 RIGHT: 10 Controller rotation: classic ADS SENS All Scope : 75 DPI:3200 My in app are: Hip: 125 Ads: 62

Hey, so the vertical recoil is already gone and you must only handle the horizontal recoil now, right? In that case add a second smart action and do the same as before, but this time use angles of 270° to move left and 90° to move right. So if your recoil moves to the right, you use a 270° angle to move it to the left instead.

@@claudiovolaj4640 Every person aims differently, holds the mouse differently, and uses other settings. So copying the values will most likely not result in the outcome you want to achieve. Everyone has to find their own SAB values.

Hey when using my smart actions they work fine but when I turn my SAB on the first shot has recoil then the no recoil kicks in. Any idea why this is happening?

Hey, thats because of how Aim SAB works, which also affects your smart actions. It increases the inertia for example, which means your initial stick movement will be slower. So raise the first magnitude in your smart action to compensate for that. Or add a new magnitude with a higher percentage and a short duration to the beginning of your smart action.

75 Standard sens for all scopes or 75 1x and all other scopes = the same speed as the 1x?

If you use one sensitivity for all scopes then you have the same pixels covered per swipe sensitivity for every scope.

So you said you have a Wooting 60E which has the analog keys, so doesn’t that mean if you hold the key 50% of the full keystroke your operator should move at 50% speed? If so why did you still bind a walk key? Debating on buying a wooting or just sticking with the Steelseris. Thanks!

Yes that is exactly how the Wooting is working. The walking key is for those who use digital keyboards, which most XIM users probably have. So I have mainly showed it to teach users how to set up a walking key! :)

@@gvldiino it doesn’t require a wooting, Wooting’s just works better with the analog movement and makes it harder to Detect depending on which game you are playing

Hi Odin I think XimMatrix still needs improvement in sab. My mouse feels very smooth when I use sab 0 0 0. My Current sab is 80 0 0 , and my mouse feels very lag , and I can't even draw a circle.

Hey, make sure to install the new beta firmware which reworked SAB completely. Also you should never use such high values, instead follow the steps from this video (SAB chapter)! :)

@@solotime__9934 You should look up how the mousetrap works so you know when something works and when something doesnt work. You must play a lot of games before making your verdict.

I will do that in the future! The setup would almost be the same, the only difference is that you pick a different config type at the beginning. Either "Controller (Smart Actions only)" and then you can use your normal controller ingame settings, or if you want to use gyro aiming, then "Mouse and Gamepad" but you must use the recommended ingame settings from the XIM Website.

You lean with your melee and sprint button, so you would need to bind those actions to Q and E.

@@user-wh3ku3uq3g Yeah exactly, see the button bindings chapter of this config tutorial on how to do that. You create two new buttons (Q and E) and assign the sprint and melee action to them! :)

So if i copy all your values in the configuration should i try your sab settings? I have razer ornata (keyboard) and i dont know if its analog. When i google it, it says that it has hybrid switches… i dont understand what to do

Only the Wooting keyboards are analog in combination with XIM devices. Any other analog keyboard on the market doesnt work with the XIM as those always require the PC driver to run in the background to achieve analog inputs.

There is a maximum of configs you can have at a time. You can backup configs via the flashtool or config code so you can delete them and recover them in the future again.

@XimCentral my xim matrix isnt working correctly. When i turn at random times it will stop. Or when i turn and stop it will continue going. It this a hardware problem. Or a setting problem. And what can i do to fix it.

Hey, please update your Matrix firmware to the latest beta one. There is an issue with specific hardware devices that can cause this, the beta firmware fixes this.

There is a more recent one so the link doesnt work anymore. Just use the most recent beta firmware instead! :)

Even though i copied all your settings the smart actions for the rainbow six guns dont work. After a few bullets it just pulls down… i have a razer mouse and it has its own settings which i dont understand… there are like 5 sensitivity stages and for each stage there is a dpi value. It is might due to my mouse settings but what can i do about it pls help😊

Hey, you must also copy the YScale value in your XIM Config. If that doesnt work then you most likely suffer from the ingame sensitivity bug when using non-default advanced settings.

what dpi you have on your mouse? i mean on the mouse and not in the xim . plus your dpi was very very slow so i use 1500 in xim app

Same DPI as shown in the config, 10800. DPI doesnt change your sensitivity with XIM Matrix anymore.

So im wondering how much dpi should i use in xim matrix app. And on my razer mouse? Cuz now when I use 10800 my moment feels really slow in mw3 for some weird reason.. So if I use 10800 dpi in both what should i have for hip and ads value?

I can’t seem to get my controller appear as connected in my manager, even thought it still works when plugged in. Could this be an or is it because I edit my configs on a pc

If you create a Mouse and Keyboard config then the controller is not recognized as an input. What type of config have you created?

What is a analog keyboard? Are we talking about analog switches on the keys or an actual thump stick/ LS on a keyboard

Analog switches, yes. The Wooting 60HE is an analog keyboard for example and it works with XIM devices.

The Razer keyboard only offers analog when the Synapse driver is running in the background. That isnt the case with XIM devices.

@XIM Central yo odin, ive got the wooting now (witch is a great device) I use for analog behaviour and even with hig sab values on aim (90) I still manage to not match game requirements. I lowered sens and dpi to not have fast mouse movements. Have privacy setting ect. What else can I do? Will the sab update you are working on be of any effect?

Thats because you are still in Navigation Mode. Check the instructional videos on the XIM website on how to leave it! :)

Is it normal to have sensitivity on 1000+ ? I used the same dpi as yours but it’s only fast when the sensitivity is a lot higher

Hey, that means your mouse runs on a much lower DPI value. The XIM DPI value doesnt change your mouse DPI, it just tells the XIM how much DPI your mouse is running on. So change the mouse DPI as you would normally do it, then your sensitivity value will also be lower.

Sometimes when I play r6 with your config I use my controller not MNK and it just swings up or down out of nowhere why is that ?

Yes it does, but you must follow the Wooting + XIM Apex setup guide from the Wooting website.

So with each different recoil you need another hot key for it?

You could load different weapon recoils to different hotkeys if that is your question!
