Xerosicyos Danguyi 'Silver Dollar Vine' Care & Propagation

Xerosicyos danguyi also known as the String of Coins, Silver Dollar Vine or String of Nickles is a lovely and unusual succulent plant native to Madagascar.
The coin like leaves are green and grow on vines. This plant can get quite big and attaches itself to structures and other plants with tendrils.

    Thank you! I have two cuttings that rooted and sent up new shoots after about a month. I had one small cutting I ordered, and I'm trying to root it a different way. This was a concise and easy to follow video on one of my favorite plants! ❤

    @azlem2233 I used a mixture of coconut husk, orchid bark, worm castings and soil mixed with perlite. I watered when the soil was dry. I kept it in bright light, morning sun outside in summer. I got a nice shoot off both rooted cuttings I ordered.

    Cuttings is the best way with this plant. leaves don't typically grow unless a bit of the main stem is attached as well 🙂@@azlem2233
