I had every system from Atari 2600 thru PS3 as they came out. The Xbox 360 has to be my go to fav. 😊 Followed by original Xbox then Dreamcast.

after wasting time on the wrong via by CR35 thanks for the complete video. many guides left out details on the final steps too! for anyone new coming across this, picoflasher is honestly an easier way to manage corona 4GB nands (6 wires, no crystal wire!) and picos are cheap, recommend it over sd tools

I had hundreds of 360's bought them in "Lots of broken consoles". JTAG & RGH & Reflowed, controller mods, Leds. I just loved it, such a wonderful time I had. I have been researching and I think 3.0 may be making a slight comeback. I just miss it. That Pi Pico tool is cool. I still have Nand X etc.

I appreciate the video. Do you know if it is necessary to use the resistor when connecting together those 2 specific points on the backside? I've seen other tutorial videos that say it's optional, but I've never really understood why.

It's safer to use the resistor to protect your cpu . It's not necessary but there super cheap so I would recommend using them . Thank you

I have an xbox with a x360acev3 chip. It worked for like a year then it got these graphical glitches like lines across the screen. Then eventually it just didn't boot anymore. I took it apart to look at it and saw nothing so i booted it up one more time and i doubt taking it apart did actually did anything but it actually worked for like 30 minutes which it had not done for 3 years. Then the same thing happened. Do you have any idea what could be the issue causing the glitches and eventual crash?

I would take it apart and look at the wiring for the x360acev3 chip . Look for broken or faulty wiring .With the lines across the screen makes me think gpu issues or overheating of the gpu maybe new thermal paste. It's hard to say but that's what I would start with.

Flash the original retail Nand back on it and undo the power wire from the chip and boot it. I bet it will E74 or RROD.

I have a 4GB console that requires a POST Fix adapter, I am able to create and write my Xell build but when I plug the console in to get my Key, I get a green light but no video out on any port (component or HDMI), eject button works on the DVD and the drive spins up, I never get a out green dash only the center green LED. Any help would be appreciated.

Usually if it doesn't boot it means one of two things: A. Your wiring is bad, and you'll need to check your solder joints. B. One time I made the mistake of not building an RGH 3 image, which can also prevent your console from booting xell. If it's neither of those, your console could also be dead.

A lot of the post fix adapters on the market are cheap and don't work very well. You might need to bend it down and try to get it to make contact

I have a Corona 4GB with corrupt storage that will not format or update. I tried to dump the firmware with a card reader mod and never could get a connection to the PC. I wonder if that USB tool would work. What is with the firmware chip on the bottom of these boards anyway?

Think of the 4gb usb tool as a sd card reader that you attach the wires directly to .It works the same way as the sd card method and reduces the margin of possible errors.The firmware is the operating system of the Xbox 360 .Thats what your trying to dump ,than decrypt it with the cpu key ,modify it and than upload it back .As far as the hard drive it maybe dead .You can try to hook it up to you computer and format it with windows and if that works put it back in the xbox and format it with tthe xbox .Hard drives for the xbox a pretty cheap these day if that doesn't work .thanks for watching

Yes you can . I only did that because you have to disconnect the 4gb sd card tool and than hook it back up . You will just have to remove it and solder it back up

Hi mate, don't suppose you could be of any help? I took my xbox 360 e apart to put on some new paste and my led fan came loose so i took the led fan and all its wires off the motherboard now my rgh is having a black screen when i start it and the controllers don't load up

It may be bad thermal conductivity. The factory thermal compound is garbage. Might need to be delidded and new thermal compound.

Are you aware of any way to fix a pulled post via? Every tutorial I see to rgh/jtag requires that post via to be soldered to.

POST? Well, It's possible to solder to POST on the top of the motherboard if the bottom point is damage. You can also clamp a postfix adapter on the side of the CPU. If you are taling about PLL, then it is impossible to fix on the S/E. You need to use S-RGH or Mufas if PLL is damaged on S/E.

You would have to identify your motherboard version . Lots of pics and info on Google to do so. if it's a corona 4 gb it should work . One other thing you would have to check is if you need a post fix adapter which I went over in the video . Thanks for watching

If this is a 4gb model its probably not going to read with the pico . I originally tried with the pico and tripple checked all my connections and I could never get it to read .I suggest you check to make sure all your connections and if you still can't get it the read . Try the tool I used in the video . It's easy to use and worked like a charm . Thanks for watching

I tried for 3 weeks trying to get the pico to works . Evan bought the pre-made wire set for it . I wouldn't waste anymore time on it . Just get the tool I used in the video .
