the rumor is ncix tried to cut out wholesalers and buy from manufacturers directly and in the process burned both the bridges. have to stress this is just internet gossip. makes a bit of sense though as i ordered something "in stock" and it took a month to get to me. if you visit the stores they are basically empty.

Damn, the end of an era. I just have this sick feeling in my stomach that it's going to be like Top Gear all over again. Yeah, they got new people to do the old show, but it will never be the same. And yeah, they got the old guys to do a new show, but it's still not the same. And now that it's changed, even if we somehow got the old guys to do the old show again, I think we all know it would never be the same. I know it's dumb, because I really played a minuscule part in all this, all of us viewers contributed very little, but I feel like having watched this show for years now that I was a part of something. You lot made us, the viewers, feel more like we were friends goofing off and sharing news than a bunch of strangers watching other strangers through the internet. I guess this is a thing we'll have to accept though. Like all forms of video media, Television, Movies, we have to accept that someday the writers, actors, producers, directors, they all have to move on with their lives onto new things, and that thing we loved has to come to an end. I hadn't really considered it yet, not in the realm of KZread. We've all seen channels die, but usually they just fade away until you realize it's been over a year since you last saw an upload. I'm not ready to see a show I watch daily just disappear from the web. Best of luck to you, Keys, and I hope you pass that sentiment on to the rest of the team that brought us 1.1 Million so much joy and tech news.

I'm super bummed out to hear this. riley, I would love to know why the others slowly left and are you leaving for the same reason as them? could you do a video on that or a live stream AMA or something. many of us have been here since the linus days and think the show got even better, but seeing the show develop these years its like a sitcom that ended too soon, we need that closure hommie! Probably NCIX not PAYING THEM, NCIX the computer store company is FAILING and failing BAD, they closed half there stores a few months back, they aren't getting new stock from vendors because they can't pay vendors, they are cancelling pre-orders on the items they can't get because the vendors won't supply it (since they can't pay) and all kinds of other shit, there are reddit threads dedicated to the MANY things wrong with NCIX.

I sincerely enjoyed the NCIX Tech Tips show for many years. Your show will surely be missed by many. It was certainly one of my absolute favorite KZread channels.

Thanks guys for all of the videos! Sorry to see this end (for now) best wishes all. I think I might start using my iPhone 4S again and start re-watching from when that came out. That will keep me entertained for awhile...until Windows 8 comes out then i'll be sad for awhile...

i dont post much on YT but in this case i want to say something. I always watch and these daily videos because of the quick insight and great mood of the presenters, there are plenty of shows that look like this one, but none of those are netlinkeddaily. I will miss this.

Don't stuff your dong in a fan, that's the only tip you're gonna need forever

As of 8 AM Eastern, this video has 25,000 views, and Keys new channel has 8,000 subscribers. So that means either: A) KZread takes some time to update subscriber count or, B) Only about 1/4th of the people who watched this video want Keys to continue on his own. Seems alot lower than I would have thought.

Bummer, this was one of my favorite channels to watch daily. Have a journey, Keys!

Linus went his own way ages ago, so no real joining up with him except after he can get established & do a collab, which not even sure if he'd wanna collab with Linus since that channel's kinda going to crap.

Love you man, this channel is part of my daily life i dont want to see it end;( but hopefully you are successful in the other channel you pursue GOOD LUCK AND THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU AND THE CREW HAVE DONE WE LOVE YOU!

A suggestion for the future of the channel, see if Linus will buy NCIX tech tips from NCIX? All of you could stay with the channel but as LMG employees and maintain the format people are familiar with, rename the channel Netlinked and replace NCIX plugs and competitions with other sponsorship wherever necessary to keep it financially viable, you could also include the videos from the channel on Linus' Floatplane Club platform to further increase the likelihood of people subscribing to Floatplane. It's perfect! You guys get to keep your livelihoods, Linus gains a channel with 1.15 million subscribers that he's already familiar with, you are already established hosts with vibrant personalities that can take part in videos on Linus Tech Tips, Tech Quickie and Channel Super Fun, you live relatively nearby to the LMG office and you already know eachother personally so there is no risk of ending up with total strangers or even need to go through interviews! I think you should suggest it! What's the worst that could happen? He says no and you are no worse off than you currently are. Its a win win for both you guys and Linus.

Linus probably acquired 99.9% of This company, and NCIX TECH TIPS is now LINUS TECH TIPS and the netlinked series is now the TechLinked channel, also Riley is host for the video's on TechLinked.
