Just picked one up a couple months ago, really digging it but got appendicitis and doing old truck restoration, so haven't used it as much as I'd hoped too. User friendly, only odd thing I found so far was it only listed 4 of 6 fuel injectors for bidirectional on a 08 Grand Caravan 3.3L....I was surprised to see something like that on a common vehicle 🤔 Seems very much like Autel tool but less money and 3 years free updates as well as like $400 a year afterwards for the pro. Tool still supposed to work if you don't update at the end of 3 year's. Frequent updates! I hear Xtools will fix software problems if you bring it to their attention.

Will this put the vin into a new abs module?

Does this cover a 2021 GMC Sierra 2021 in the cluster area? I bought a d8 and it won’t connect to network also it only does up to 2020 which is the same thing literally.

I am doing a engine swap , would i be able to change the VIN with this on like the modules e.g ecm , bcm , tcm , srs .... Ect ..

I'm having problems also. Can't get ahold of support on this Xtool 9 pro. Cluster on a vw and key on a ram truck. Their should be an instruction manual. Do you scan, copy, manual enter, ect. Some say don't do if you don't know what you're doing. How do you find out what you should do? Google says not a valid email address. This Xtool D9 pro. Tell me to put in my password. I put in my Google password. It says not a valid password or email. Don't have a password for the xtool. Doesn't give an option for forgotten password. Anyone know how to get ahold of support on this Xtool D9 pro?

Not a scanner out there for module programming...You have to have a pass through/J2534 for that. Scanners only give you the ability for scan--read live data--bi-directional test--scope and key programming depending on the quality of your scanner. If you're looking to flash modules need to invest in a pass-thru device and educate yourself on how to use it properly. Also need a quality laptop to pair with your j2534 to properly perform module programming.

D8 ha the same topology after the latest software update this month.

Looks like they are running the Autel software. I have not been impressed with Autel lately. I bought a TopDon Phoenix Plus for less than $1000 and couldn't be happier.

Shows you not everything made in China is crap. They also learned from the Japanese, take an existing product, duplicate it, improve on it, then sell it cheaper. I wonder how long before Autel sues them for patent violations and the such. Microsoft and Apple went on it for years. BTW, no link to the discount in the description.

Funny thing when you do businesses in china you don't get the rights to your property. If you look into Launch USA there's a Launch China and i've found about 6 different "Certified" Launch dealers online all from china selling Eurasia Launch products . They wrok great in India and Asian countries but not very well on US domestic

It's a Chinese product, therefore they use the lowest grade lithium ion batteries. Like C or D grade batteries. So most importantly, which I didn't hear covered, when this thing no longer holds a charge in 2-3 years from now, how easy is it to replace it's battery?

NEW D9 not D9 pro comments here Its has software issues and technical support is rubbish ,It wont scan a Citroen C3 2015 offline this is the 3 rd car we have scanned it scans the Honda and ford transit OK off line . we also discovered it wont scan the C3 add blue system ,Support is terrible

It doesn't have all the programs needed for all vehicles after 1996. They have terrible customer support!
