WWE Byte This - Full Vince McMahon interview 7 June 2002
Музыка
This is the full Vince McMahon interview from Byte This in 2002. I found the footage on an old tape from my tape trading days that i can't see has been uploaded anywhere else before, hence the poor video quality.
I also found the previous week's Byte This interview with Steve Austin, another seemingly lost full interview.

Crazy. The day you were born, Vince McMahon was commenting about TNA & Jim Cornette spitting in Ed Farara's face.
back when the 56k was all its glory, they had these online.. maybe also on tv i dont quite remember.. but they would show some recaps of raw on saturday and then sunday night heat at night on sunday.
Thanks for the upload. Love that you uploaded the Austin interview too and it has double the views this one does. More proof hoe huge Austin is to this day, 22 years after leaving. Vince should have protected Steve better in 2002, instead he took Austin for granted. Can't blame Steve for walking out.

Steve was programmed to work with Benoit and Eddie, what more did he want ?!

Vince, in general, had become complacent once he won. The declining business and subpar creative quality (Austin’s main complaint) gets addressed several times here. They literally had Steve recycling the 1998 McMahon fued with Flair in lieu of Vince.

@@bb-gc2txWeird thing to say considering Austin was the top ratings draw in the company post-brand split, while Hogan had the title taken off after one month due to his inability to draw past the nostalgia trip.

My GOD! Ive been looking for Byte This! episodes (or webisodes) for YEARS!! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!! I genuinely thought we'd never see these! Do you have any from 2004?
This truly was cutting edge for its time. Just the shoot interview style to the mainstream audience even. Shoot interviews were a thing before this, but I know for me personally as 13 year old kid…this was my first hurrah into the backstage dealings that I don’t think I would’ve explored had it not been for shows like this on the wwe website. It’s also funny how they hit the internet head on with what was being said. Whereas now I feel like they try to do what they can to chastise that “internet fan” as not even existing.
Do you have Discord? Very interested in what wrestling media you may have and would like to digitize and backup.
Amazing video! Thank you very much, do you happen to have the Jim Cornette episode?

@@smugmode84 I believe it was 1997, his appearance on the show was supposedly the highest rated at the time and was the reason Jim's promos shooting on the business got on air on Raw in '97

Vince lied about Vince Russo. It was at this time he was trying to bring him back into the fold.
