Whats easy to see is that "Mr. McMahon" is Vince. The straight-laced commentator that we knew from the late 70's through the mid-90s is what was actually the act. And it shouldn't be that surprising given how so EASILY Vince transitioned into the "Mr. McMahon" character, with almost no seeming effort. It seemed to come off so quickly and naturally for him. And then you go back and watch commentator Vince, and you realize THATS what took more effort for him. Because it wasn't really him.

The issue that Kevin doesn't get is...she was about to lose her apartment, Vince started helping her as a "nice guy" then started making her do worse things. When she said she didnt want to do it anymore he not only said he would take away her apartment but also that he would release the photos of her. That would be revenge porn...it would be blackmail (all illegal) and it would be become a sex crime as you are now making her do these sex acts with threats of a illegal nature.

@juanel589 doesn't matter if she got money and gifts. Once you start threatening to reveal nude photos (that's revenge porn which is now a crime in many places and blackmail which was always a crime) of someone if they don't keep having sex it becomes all kinds of crimes including rape. Let's give an extremely generous example and say you are involved in a 100% consensual relationship where you gave a woman money and took nude photos of her. One day she says she doesn't want to have sex with you any more so you say if she stops you will put her pictures all over social media. Now she does have sex with you because she doesn't want that to happen. So you have now used illegal coercion to get her to have sex with you. Now that's rape regardless of any consenting or money exchange that might have happened previously or any additional money exchange that might happen after.

Let's clarify something incel, all of that is just fine if it started consensual. The point is the texts CLEARLY indicate she got tired of it, she withdrew consent, and Vince pressed on saying "no means yes." Also, you don't get to promise a human being as leverage during contract negotiations. Human trafficking is a felony, whether you thought or Vince thought past activity meant implied consent going forward. And Vince didn't pay her what he agreed to, which is why he's being correctly sued now. This would've all been prevented if that billionaire weasel paid her what he promised. Get it now?

There's no age-restriction on being groomed. Sometimes there's an investigation going on behind the scenes in private that prohibits other things going public (as in maybe things needed to be kept quiet before the Feds raided Vince's house, as an example). The board didn't let Vince back, he pulled a fast one and essentially blackmailed the board to having him back. Trips fumbled the question; it's his job in his position to know what the complaint was. He should've just said "I can't comment" rather than his rambling-on about looking at the positive (I genuinely hope Trips isn't involved in the whole thing). Can't be consensual when Johnny Ace has essentially said he only did what he did because Vince forced him, in that, there's no such thing as consensual rape. Throwing accusations on a female lawyer's ability to practice law based on how she looks is not helping your case, and as some will know, a lawyer doesn't need to be an expert in grooming because they bring-in experts. Vince will have his day in court, he will most-likely be found guilty. I'm stopping listening to this at 12:26 because I don't feel like carrying on, as this feels like someone is trying to cover for their friend. All credibility is lost when someone makes the "Why didn't they come forward sooner?" argument.

Assuming the allegations are true, I imagine she stayed because she needed the job and was terrified of having all the pictures/videos leaked to destroy her reputation (and thus she can't find another job). Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Not for the misogynistic pervert, his wife who knew about EVERYTHING, the daughter who knew about EVERYTHING, Hunter knew about EVERYTHING, and the only smart one is the son who got the hell away from that family. When asked why he left- he said “because I didn’t want to become like my father”

Given that you guys waited a week to speak on this, I would have expected you to be better prepared. It has already been reported that McMahon is under federal investigation, and a search warrant was executed at his home several months ago. "Grooming" does not refer to the age of the victim, or even implied consent. It refers to the idea that a person in a position of real or perceived power uses that power to coerce another person into consenting to sexual acts that they may not otherwise consent to. If the allegations are true, this is a textbook case of grooming. This may have even started off as a consensual relationship that got out of hand, but if her story is true, it is clear that it did not meet the legal criteria of a consensual relationship by the end. Based on the text messages presented in her filing, it was clear that McMahon was using his power to coerce her into doing what he wanted her to do. She filed this suit as a result of McMahon's refusal to pay the money he agreed to pay when she signed the NDA. Given that hers is not the only one out there, nor is it the biggest, this is only the beginning.
