Man Kevin protected Austin and made him even look good. He gave me Austin one more time. I will always be grateful fro that. It brought me back to my childhood. Austins movements and angles were all the same. Maybe a little slower but the same. And Kevin was a big reason why.

I'm 42 and recently got back into WWE. I decided to pick up where I left off all those years ago. I am currently in the middle of 2008, so I have a long way to go. So much attitude. Always thought very highly of in ring ability. Just versatile and little nods to or past the 4th wall. His LIST run with Jericho was just wonderful and easily could have been in the attitude era. The credible way he's bounced around with Sami Zayn from bros to rivals or worse (Blood Line gas lighting Sami) WWE is blessed again with a mens division that is on fire and has the potential to become a raging inferno. Roll on the next great 'era' we are in the verge of or in right now (last 18 months - Blood Line got to take a chunk of credit as much as I cannot wait to see Roman chopped down in size !!)

too bad for all the bad stuff mcmahon did. if he was a bit younger, id say his punishment would be wrestle against 5 different wrestlers. 1 after another... but since he was a bad dude, they all wrestle him and she gets to you know, make a brown on him. but hes out of the ring forever so thats all that is.

  • @hectic105

I can tell you haven’t actually read or listened to the allegations, or read the texts. First things first, you don’t know what it’s like to be put in the position she was in in the first place. There are many reasons that people who are in those power dynamics react the way they do. Second, what does it matter if she took money or not? That should NEVER EVER be something that a boss does to their employees. There is NO defending that, so trying to shift the blame doesn’t change that AT ALL. Third, the hush money payments don’t make the act ok. Also, he didn’t pay her the full amount, so she didn’t “take the money”. Oh, and let’s not forget this is only ONE of the people with hush money payments. There is a psychotic amount of smoke here, to try and deny that there’s any fire to it is ludicrous. The courts will determine the rest here, but unless the texts are proven to be made up (which can be proven), and if John Laurinaitis is lying when he threw Vince under the bus, and if the other hush money payments are proven to be for things that AREN’T for this kind of behavior (why would you make those payments if that’s the case?), then I don’t think it’s worth defending Vince at all here. I don’t care about your “whataboutism”, it’s wrong no matter who commits it and it would be treated that way no matter what if these details came about regarding a female boss and a male subordinate.

  • @creativeartist83

@hectic105 the fact that you state this would happen no matter what the gender is ridiculous. As someone who was in a abusive relationship with a female. I know first hand how little you can do about it simply because they are females. I admit I don't know the full details. But what from what I gather and what I have read. She was offered money to do things. She accepted? So she isn't doing this to get a whole load more money out of this situation? I'm sure Vince could have been and may well be a real piece of sh1t.. but it sounds to me like everything has been manipulated to sound bigger/more than it is/was. Maybe I'm blickered by my experience with females but it seems she was offered a job with some very dodgy terms which she could have turned down. I'm not excusing his behaviour.. but I also don't believe it's all one way

  • @henrygvidonas9573

She could NOT "have walked away at any point". That alone completely disqualifies whatever else you have to say about the matter, because you clearly haven't informed yourself properly. Nothing of it was "her choice". Vince specifically and intentionally targeted an emotionally and economically vulnerable victim to manipulate and groom her for psychological and physical abuse. She only got away when Vince had to get rid of her because he had to try to clean out the skeletons in his closet for the sale to Endeavor. Unless you have read the lawsuit (which is available online), your opinion means nothing. Because it's ignorant and uninformed.

I know we’ve seen texts from Vince but where is the full exchange proving she was in fact, a victim and not simply a willing participant? Not for nothing but we know nothing of her history, if she turned out to be a sex worker then this is just all about money with the false narrative of wanting the culture to change. If the intent is truly altruistic, you gotta ask, why now?
