One major thing with Edge’s Judgement Day was…I don’t think people could really get behind a heel Edge again, not after his amazing come back from injury. The super natural stuff also seemed to be kinda goofy and don’t get me wrong JD now still have their goofy moments but it’s more of…they’re not trying to be this super badass group supernatural creatures, they’re the emo gang from high school and it just works

And what can he do more/better exactly?? He can't cut a promo, he doesn't look like a top guy, he's over 40, the fans like and respect him without being in love with him...tell us how he deserves better after all these years of average results.

The biggest “what if?” in WWE history is what if Balor never suffered that injury at SummerSlam 2016? Personally think he’d have catapulted to the level of an AJ Styles in that upper-mid card/main event scene. JD Balor has been great to watch though

Edge should have stayed as the leader for atleast another year and continue to grow his faction and eventually use his recruits to his advantage to win titles and cheat his ways to victory and then maybe in the future they can turn on him. It was so much better at the beginning, they turned it around now with Rhea being amazing, Dominic, unfortunately they've ruined Priest and taken him SO far away from being a credible title contender. But yeah that was waaaay too fast, it would've been sick to see if it played super long term. But seriously, the kind of stuff he's saying with all these ideas, is the reason why so many ideas in WWE have been trash for awhile. You can't have TV writers who don't know anything about wrestling, writing wrestling. Wrestling is a WHOLE different animal, and people that don't get it that are trying to write sitcoms, are going to come up with some awful stuff a lot of the time.

Horror characters are hard to pull off. But if done well with acting, production, execution, attire etc... they can be awesone and draw people in. This indie mindset that its all about in ring work, believable and relatable characters/storylines is baloney. Bray Wyatt not long ago was outselling all these boring wrestlers. Here's the truth....Edge and the rest of them weren't good enough to pull off horror based gimmicks. Current JD can't work the mic PERIOD. People act like JD got over immediately after Edge left. There was months of WWE forcing them on us when they weren't over. They're like a song that eventually gets stuck in your head because of how often you hear it. Same with them. That and the relationship between Rhea, Dom and the feud with Rey are THE ONLY reasons people started caring.

@@smoothrealism8259 I love indie shows (and major productions, too! I was in Dallas for Smackdown last month!) for reasons that you claim to also like wrestling: that it's often times a more light hearted, sometimes surreal, sometimes artful affair. That's what I find so weird: You have this notion that all of them, collectively, around this ultra serious ROH chain wrestling Pride Fighting affairs and... they aren't? At all? That hasn't jived with the reality that I am living right now, at this very second. I go to indie shows 2 to 3 times a month, both in my local area and abroad, because I love the stuff that breaks from the hyper-focused "reality" shit. And I just am so sad that there's some promotion out there that was so covered in grime and suplexs that it's ruined the whole medium for you. Not all indie labels are Kill Rock Stars, not all indie promotions are ROH. If that's the only experience you've had with the indie scene, I /implore/ you to go to something local and have a good time. And if something local is what did this to you, please share the name of it so that I can avoid it: I don't need this sort of negativity in my life.

You know, Edge definitely has a dark horror side to his character because of him doing the vampire stuff in the broods and the broods also being a part of the ministry of darkness, plus Edge also sometimes acts like a lunatic, so yeah, Edge definitely has a dark horror side to his character but Edge is still not a complete supernatural character like The Undertaker, Kane and Bray Wyatt. That's why the judgment day under Edge's leadership was a cult but not a supernatural cult like the ministry of darkness and the wyatt family. But yeah, when Edge got betrayed and kicked out, the whole cult stuff in the judgement day ended and the group became a gang of punk and edgy teenagers who bullies everyone.

It's kinda sad that WWE change the JD's direction because WWE wants JD a supernatural group but Edge doesn't approved the idea. I'm surprised this group is still around because it's such a mess and has no actual identity to it. Their entrance makes you think with the black wings and hooded figures it's supposed to be some gothic group, but it isn't. Whenever someone speaks they sound like any other heel faction that just wants to dominate the place. They have two guys like Dominic and the big head guy who are often treated as jokes. They do comedy sketches with R-Truth. Everything about it screams low midcard and not a real threat but you're supposed to take them seriously. They even still have remnants of Edge in there because of the Alter Bridge theme song. At first it felt like it could've been interesting with Edge as leader and it would've been good for him to do a sort of Devil's Advocate Sean O'Haire role where he's compelling lost/directionless wrestlers to trust in him and do what he suggests even if it causes long-term damage. But nowadays it is pretty much just a group that wears purple/black and that's all you really know.
