@animal1nstinct394 depends on your definition of 'respect'.. IMO, breaking down the intricacies of anything with excitement shows not only a profound respect for it, but also shows a lingering passion that Maven has for wrestling. He isn't shooting on anyone or boisterously calling out aspects of the business, he's just matter-of-factly explaining everything.

And honestly most of us would lie if we will loss hundreds of millions of dollars in sponsorships and movie deals. But cmom guys the use steroids now and they used it back than. One of the things I’ve always wanted to know is “when do wrestlers find out who is going to win”. I’ve literally ALWAYS wanted to know that and to find out that it’s literally on the day of the show is insane. I just can’t wrap my head around it. I always thought they were planned weeks/months in advance. Imagine being a champion and being told “your losing the belt tonight mate” I’d be pissed 😭

On the weekly and house shows, that probably what happens. But on Championship matches, those are mostly planned ahead, especially the top world championships. For example, before Superstar Billy Graham won the WWWF title from Bruno Sammartino, he was told exactly when he was going to drop the belt to Bob Backlund at MSG, which was about a year ahead of time.

Mave my dearest brother, you have the charisma, the capacity to not only spark life in what in reality is a journey filled with horror except the little breathing spaces you wrestlers got when overseas but the grace to present that window into the world of the WWE in a contented and joyful manner. Honestly, even Austin or Dwayne-The Rock would not present such a positive and optimistic window into the world of Vincent Kennedy McMahon and his empire. If the WWE managed everything like travel, food, accommodation - - Even BnB would suffice, I would say that a lot of the misery, suffering and stress would be spared as all this could be delegated so that the entertainment performers may be able to lead a life onwards of the WWE which is positive and healthy which then the WWE can exploit for whitewashing their empire and for publicity but at least the entertainment performers can benefit from. Look at Brock Lesnar who wrestles a handful of times in a year but still is a top draw and earner. I genuinely thought for a long time that the images that I saw in the WWE book-type-magazines from 2002-2004 where all the wrestlers were in a long black bus 🚍 and travelling together was the norm and that the wrestlers were solely focused on the action, storyline, gyming and had the support of being with all the other comrades as a replacement for being away from the family and friends so that after the performance everyone could chill out back at the motel and have each other to confide in. I draw this analogy in good faith rather than insult that the WWE travelling and wrestlers are more like a moving circus or like gypsies who may be deprived of a permanent place of residence but have the blessing of being united as a group living, not only working, living coherently. My love is why I wrote such a long comment but from my evaluation people should rather put their time, health, relationships, peace, brutal hard work and sacrifice into other avenues of entertainment sport or actual sport rather than for a business that treats their wrestlers not as EMPLOYEES in terms of extending the benefits of contractual employees but obliges them as if full-time employees even though they are independent contractors who are obligated to Vinny McMahon. Why Maven works so well as a wrestling KZreadr is you can see his experience of a teacher comes out in the videos and becomes very informative and memorizing video to watch. Wrestling fans will always know wrestlers get hurt and not everything is fake but while most wrestlers will get mad or just say “it’s real” maven comes around to tell how the small but informative details. Unfortunately, I wasn't familiar with Maven's career since I didn't follow wrestling during the Attitude/Ruthless Aggression era, missing out on some fantastic moments. My wrestling fandom was strong during the Golden Era, with favourites like Warrior, Hogan, Hacksaw, and Bulldog, but it waned around 1998. By pure accident, I found myself watching again during the early days of the PG era. Maven, though, I stumbled upon him on this KZread channel and have since delved into his matches and interviews on the WWE network and KZread. He's truly impressive, not just in the ring but as a likable human being, and I'm delighted to have discovered this channel!

I love this content! This and Steven Richards' channels are the best wrestling behind the scenes channels I've come across. Sure, Maven didn't have THAT long of a career with the WWE but what is important to me is that he was a fan first and then a wrestler. He doesn't come out as the company man but is genuinely honest and transparent!
